壹. 何西亞書(HOSEA)
前 言
1. 請對照和合本原譯, 點閱本書, 賜教指正, 使神的話語更通順雅達, 以榮神益人.

何西阿是北國先知, 事奉長達五十年之久(主前760-710年). 當時, 南國由烏西雅王(主前790-739年),
直至希西家王(主前729-686B C); 北國則由耶羅波安一世(主前793-753年), 至其餘六王. 這六國何西阿
隻字未提, 可能他認為只有南國的大衛王朝的王, 才是合法君王.
此期間, 國家動蕩不安, 社會充滿罪惡, 君王及臣宰靠外力苟安, 不專一向神(何8:9-10); 宗教領袖
如祭司和長老, 不但没有禁止人民拜偶像, 更帶領百姓行惡(何4:6-9, 5:1, 6:9). 在這惡劣環境下, 何西阿
含辛茹苦, 忠心事神; 在家庭方面, 神卻吩咐何西阿娶淫婦為妻. 先知之妻, 婚後不久即不忠於夫, 背棄
婚约. 神以此作為選民背棄與神立約的借喻, 並要先知宣告, 選民若不悔改, 将必大禍臨頭; 神亦藉先知
宣告, 神仍以真摯的愛對待他們. 雖然責打難免, 但會為他們包紮傷口, 以示仍向他們施恩(何11:4, 8),
因有這樣的愛, 就必有拯救與恢復.
I. 序言(1:1):
猶大王烏西雅、約坦、亞哈斯、希西家在位時, 也是約阿施之子以色列王耶羅波執政時, 耶和華
的話臨到備利之子何西阿.
II. 不貞妻忠貞夫(1:2-3:5):
耶和華開始藉何西阿說話時, 衪對何西阿說: "你去娶妓女為妻, 生淫亂兒女, 因這地淫亂敗壞,
遠離耶和華."
(I) 兒女象徵(1:3-9):
於是, 何西阿娶滴拉音之女歌瑪為妻, 生下一子. 耶和華乃對何西阿說: "給你子取名耶斯列,
因我不久就要懲罰耶戶家流耶斯列人血的罪, 並滅以色列的國. 到那日, 我要在耶斯列平原折斷以色列
的弓."
不久, 歌瑪又懷孕生一女, 耶和華又對何西阿說: "給她取名羅路哈瑪(不蒙憐憫), 因我不再憐憫
以色列家, 也不饒恕他們; 然而, 我要憐憫猶大家, 並拯救他們, 不用弓箭、刀劍、戰爭、或駿馬騎士拯救
他們, 而是靠耶和華他們的神."
羅路哈瑪斷奶後, 歌瑪又生一子, 耶和華再對何西阿說: "給他取名羅阿米(非我民), 因你非我民,
我非你神."
(II) 預言復興(1:10-11):
10 以色列必如海邊沙, Yet the Isrealites will be like the sand on the seashore,
既量不盡也數不完. which cannot be measured or counted.
從前祂不認他們說: In the place where it was said to them,
"你們不是我的子民," "You are not my people,"
將來卻要對他們說: they will be called
"你們是永生神兒子." "sons of the living God."
猶大人和以色列人聯合, The people of Judah and the people of Isreal will be united,
大家共同推舉一位領袖, and they will appoint one leader
從那被擄為奴之地上來, and will come up out of the land,
因耶斯列日子必為大日. for great will be the day of Jezzeel.
(III) 不貞妻子(2:1-23):
"你們要稱你們的兄弟 '阿米(我的子民),' 稱你們的姊妹 '路哈瑪(蒙憐憫的).'"
1. 審判以色列(2:2-13):
2 "斥責你們的母親! 斥責她! "Rebuke your mother, rebuke her,
因她不是我的妻子, for she is not my wife,
我也不是她的丈夫. and I am not her husband.
要她除去臉上的淫相, Let her remove the adulterous look from her face
和她雙乳流露的邪淫. and the unfaithfulness from between her breasts.
3 否則我要把她剝得精光, Otherwise I will strip her naked
使她赤裸裸如初生之時; and make her as bare as on the day she was born;
我要使她如曠野, I will make her like a desert,
成為焦灼枯乾地, turn her into a parched land,
叫她乾渴而死亡. and slay her with thirst.
4 我不會憐愛她兒女, I will not show my love to her children,
因他們乃淫婦所生. because they are the children of adultery.
5 他們母親淫亂敗壞, Their mother has been unfaithful
在淫亂中懷了他們. and has conceived them in disgrace.
她說: "我要跟隨我的恩客, She said, "I will go after my lovers,
他們供我食物欱水, who gives me my food nd my water,
毛衫布衣膏油醇酒." my wool and my linen, my oil and my drink."
6 因此我要以荊棘堵她通道, Therefore I will block her path with thornbushes;
築牆把她困住使她無出路. I will wall her in so that she cannot find her way.
7 她追趕她的恩客卻追不上, She will chase after her lovers but not catch them;
到處找他們卻一個找不到. she will look for them but not find them.
那時她才恍然大悟後悔說: Then she will say,
"我要回頭回到我初嫁夫君, "I will go back to my husband as at first,
才會有比現在好的日子過." for then I was better off than now."
8 她卻懵然不知我才是恩公, She has not ackoneledged that I was one
儘量供她食糧新酒和膏油, who gave her the grain, the new wine and oil,
甚至她向巴力奉獻的金銀, who lavished on her the silver and gold -
無一不是我大量賜給她的. which they used for Baal.
9 因此我要拿走: Therefore I will take away
收成時的五穀, my grain when it ripens,
出酒時的新酒; and my new wine when it is ready.
和用以遮裸體 I will take back my wool and linen,
的毛衫和布衣. intended to cover her nakedness.
10 我現在要在她恩客眼前, So now I will expose her lewdness
暴露她的淫蕩水性楊花; before the eyes of her lovers;
無人能從我手把她接走. no one will take her out of my hands.
11 我要停止她所有歡慶: I will stop all her celebrations:
每年節慶和新月節期, her yearly festivals, her New Moons,
她的安息日和歡樂宴. her Sabbath days - all her appointed feasts.
12 毀壞她的葡萄無花果, I will ruin her vines and her fig trees,
據她說全是恩客給付. which she said were her pay from her lover;
我必使她果園成荒林, I will make them a thicket,
讓田間野獸任意吞噬. and wild animals will devour them.
13 我必嚴厲懲罰她 I will punish her for the days
上香拜巴力日子; she burned incense to the Baals;
她佩戴耳環珠寶 she decked herself with rings and jewelry,
妝扮自己陪恩客, and went after her lovers,
卻把我忘得乾淨," but me she forgot,"
耶和華這樣宣示. declares the Lord.
2. 重建以色列(2:14-23):
14 因此我要誘導她, "Therefore I am now going to allure her,
引領她到曠野去, I will lead her into the desert
溫言細語安慰她. and speak tenderly to her.
15 並且把葡萄園還給她, There I will give her back her vineyards,
使亞割谷成希望之門, and will make the Valley of Achor a door of hope.
讓她在那裏像幼年時, There she will sing as in the days of her youth,
和出埃及時盡情歡唱. as in the day she came up out of Egypt.
16 耶和華說: "到那日, "In the day," declares the Lord,
妳必稱我 '伊施(我夫),' "you will call me 'my husband;'
不再稱我 '巴力(我 主).' you will no longer call me 'my master.'
17 我必從她嘴中除去巴力; I will remove the names of the Baals from her lips;
牠們名字不再有人提起. no longer will their names be invoked.
18 到那日我必與我民, In that day I will make a covenant for them
田野走獸空中飛鳥 with the beasts of the field and the birds of the air
以及地上生物立約. and the creatures that move along the ground.
我還要從地上廢除 Bow and sword and battle
弓箭刀劍以及戰爭, I will abolish from the land,
使他們都安然躺下. so that all may lie down in safety.
19 妳必永遠許配我; I will betroth you to me forever;
並且在公義正直, I will betroth you in righteousness and justice,
慈愛憐憫和信實 in love and compassion,
20 之下使妳許配我, I will betroth you in faithfulness,
讓妳認識和華耶. and you will acknowledge the Lord.
21 耶和華說: "In that day I will respond,"
"到那日我會回應, declares the Lord -
我會回應天, "I will respond to the skies,
天會回應地. and they will respond to the earth;
22 地會回應五穀新酒和油, and the earth will respond to the grain, the new wine and oil,
最後會回應耶斯列. and they will respond to Jezeel.
23 我必為自己把她栽植在這地; I will plant her for myself in the land;
我要對我稱 '非我所愛的' 示愛, I will show my love to the one I called 'Not my loveed one.'
對我稱 '非我子民的' 說: I will say to those called 'Not my people,'
'你是我的子民.' You are my prople;'
而他們會同聲說: '你是我的神.'" and they will say, 'You are my God.'"
(III) 忠貞丈夫(3:1-5):
1. 贖回淫妻(3:1-3):
耶和華對我說: "你再去愛你的妻子, 雖然她是姦夫所愛的不貞淫婦; 去愛她就像耶和華
愛以色列人, 雖然他們悖逆去跟隨別神, 愛吃葡萄餅, 耶和華還是愛他們."
於是用銀子十五舍客勒和大麥一賀珥半為她贖身, 並對她說: "你要為我獨居多日, 不得
再為娼賣淫, 也不可與任何男子通姦, 我也不與你同房."
2. 歸主蒙愛(3:4-5):
因為以色列人也要獨居多日, 沒有君王, 沒有領袖, 沒有獻祭, 沒有柱像, 沒有以弗得或
偶像. 然後, 以色列人回歸, 尋求耶和華他們的神, 及大衛他們的王. 最後, 他們戰兢敬畏來到耶和華的
面前, 拜受衪的恩典.
III. 不忠國信實神(4:1-14:9):
(I) 以色列不忠(4:1-6:3):
1. 選民罪行(4:1-3):
1 以色列人啊! Hear the word of the Lord, you Isrealites,
你們要聽耶和華的話, because the Lord has a charge to bring
因衪要指控這地居民: against you who live in the land:
"這地沒信實沒有慈愛, "There is no faithfulness, no love,
也沒人認識這地的神; no acknowledgment of God in the land.
2 只有咒詛撒謊和謀殺, There is only cursing, lying and murder,
同時還有偷竊和姦淫. stealing and adultery.
他們打破了所有束縛, they break all bounds,
更殺人流血接連不斷. and bloodshed follows bloodshed.
3 因為這地不斷在哀號, Because of this the land mourn,
地上所有居民都喪命; and all who live in it waste away;
田野走獸和空中飛鳥, the beasts of the field and the birds of the air
及海中游魚也漸死亡. and the fish of the sea are dying.
2. 祭司罪行(4:4-10):
4 但彼此不必互控互責, But let no man bring a charge, let no man accuse another,
他們像控告祭司的人. for your people are like those who bring charges against a peiest.
5 你們日夜都蹣跚顛仆, You stumble day and night,
先知與你們一同顛仆. and the prophets stumble with you.
故我要毀棄你們母親, So I will destroy your mother -
6 我的民因無知而毀滅. my people are destroyed, from lack of knowledge.
"因為你們一直拒絕知識, "Because you have rejected knowledge,
我也拒絕你們作我祭司; I also reject you as my priests;
又因為你不理神的律法, because you have ignored the law of your God,
我也不理你們兒女死活. I also will ignore your children.
7 祭司越多就越加得罪我, The more the priests increased, the more they sinned against me;
他們竟以尊榮交換羞辱. they exchanged their Glory for something disgraceful.
8 他們以罪惡餵我的子民, They feed on the sins of my people
不斷鼓勵他們行邪作惡. and relish their wickedness.
9 故有其民就必有其祭司. And it will be: Like people, like priests.
我必按他們所行施懲罰, I will punish both of them for their ways
並依他們的行為施報應. and repay them for their deeds.
10 他們雖然有吃但吃不飽; They will eat but not have enough;
雖仍從事賣淫但是不多, they will engage in prostitution but not increase,
因為他們離棄了耶和華. because they have deserted the Lord.
3. 拜偶罪行(4:11-14):
11 他們淫行和新酒陳釀, To give themselves to prostitution, to old wine and new,
奪去了我子民的理智. which take away the understanding of my people.
12 他們盲目去求問木偶, They consult a wooden idol
結果木籤給他們答案. and are answered by a stick of wood.
淫蕩的心使他們迷失, A spirit of prostitution leads them astray;
也使對他們的神不貞. they are unfaithful to their God.
13 他們在山頂獻祭, They sacrifice on the mountaintops,
並在山邱獻燔祭; and burn offerings on the hills,
橡樹楊樹栗樹下, under oak, poplar and terebinth,
樹影清涼又愉悅. where the shade is pleasnat.
故你的女兒賣淫, Therefore your daughters turn to prostitution
你媳婦與人通姦. and your daughters-in-law to adultery.
14 "我不懲罰你女兒, "I will not punish your daughters
縱使她們去賣淫; when they turn to prostitution,
也不懲罰你媳婦, nor your daughters-in-law
縱使她們去通姦. when they commit adultery,
因男人與倡妓同宿, because the men themselves consort with harlots
更與廟妓一同獻祭. and sacrifice with shrine prostitutes -
失去理智的民必亡! a people without understanding will come to ruin!
4. 神的警告(4:15-19):
15 "以色列啊! 你雖犯姦淫, "Though you commit adultery, O Isreal,
但猶大勿犯罪. let not Judah become guilty.
不要往吉甲去, Do not go to Gigal;
也勿上伯亞文. do not go up to Beth Aven.
更勿指著永生耶和華起誓! And do not swear, 'As surely as the Lord lives!'
16 以色列人頑梗如倔強母牛 The Isrealites are stubborn, like a stubborn heifer.
耶和華怎可能牧養他們如 How then can the Lord pasture them
牧養肥美草場上的羔羊呢? like lambs in a meadow?
17 以法蓮參加拜偶, Ephraim is joined to idols;
那就由他們去吧! leave him alone!
18 即使他們酒醒後, Even when their drinks are gone,
仍繼續敗壞行淫, they continue their prostitution;
君臣都愛羞人事. their rulers dearly love shameful ways.
19 旋風把他們捲走, A whirlwind will sweep them away,
他們因獻祭蒙羞. and their sacrifices will bring them shame.
5. 審判全國(5:1-15):
1 眾祭司啊, 你們要聽我的話! "Hear this, you priests!
以色列人啊, 你們要注意! Pay attention, you Isrealites!
王家啊, 你們要傾聽! Listen, O royal house!
審判要臨到你們: This judgmrnt is against you:
你們是米斯巴的羅網, You have been a snare at Mizpah,
在他泊山上大張網羅. a net spread out on Tabor.
2 叛徒深陷在屠場, The rebels are deep in slaughter.
我定要管教他們. I will discipline all of them.
3 我深知道以法蓮, I know all about Ephraim;
以色列躲不過我. Isreal is not hidden from me.
以法蓮啊, 你們轉向行淫敗壞, Ephraim, you have now turned to prostitution;
以色列也跟著墮落. Isreal is corrupt.
4 他們所行不容他們歸向神. Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God.
他們有顆淫亂的心, A spirit of prostitution is in their heart;
使他們不識耶和華. they do not acknowledge the Lord.
5 以色列的驕傲在指證他們, Isreal's arrogance testifies against them;
以色列以法蓮因己罪跌倒, the Isrealites, even Ephraim, stumble in their sin;
猶大也跟著他們一同跌倒. Judah also stumbles with them.
6 他們趕著牛羊尋求耶和華, When they go with their flocks and heards to seek the Lord,
但尋不見因衪已離開他們. they will not find him; he has withdrawn himself from them.
7 他們對耶和華不忠, They are unfaithful to the Lord;
並且生下私生兒女. they give birth to illegitimate children.
現新月節慶一到來, Now their New Moon festivals
就會吞噬他們和他們的田地. will devour them and their fields.
8 你們要在基比亞吹號, Sound the trumpet in Gibeah,
同時也要在拉瑪吹角; the horn in Ramah.
在伯亞文發戰爭吶喊, Raise the battle cry in Beth Aven;
便雅憫啊, 帶頭前進! lead on, O Banjamin.
9 算帳日以法蓮成荒場, Ephraim will be laid waste on the day of reckoning.
我要在以色列支派中, Among the tribes of Isreal
宣告必定要發生之事. I proclaim what is certain.
10 猶大首領像移動地界之人, Judah's leaders are like those who move boundary stones.
我定要將我的烈怒 I will pour out my wrath on them
如洪水向他們傾倒. like a flood of water.
11 因為追求偶像. intent on pursuing idols.
以法蓮受欺壓, Ephraim is oppressed,
審判中遭踐踏, trampled in judgment ,
12 我對以法蓮如蛀蟲, I am lkie a moth to Ephraim,
like rot to the people of Judah.
13 當以法蓮發現自己生病, When Ephraim saw his sickness,
猶大看到了自己的創傷. and Judah his sores,
以法蓮立即轉向亞述, then Ephraim turned to Assyria,
派人向亞述大王求助; and sent to the great king for help.
但他不能治好你的病, But he is not able to cure you,
更加不能醫好你的傷. not able to heal your soues.
14 對以法蓮我像隻獅子, For I will be like a lion to Ephraim,
對猶大我像隻大猛獅. like a great lion to Judah.
我把他們撕碎後離去, I will tear them to pieces and go away;
把他們帶走無人搭救. I will carry them off, with no one to rescue them.
15 然後我才回自己地方, Then I will go back to my place
直至他們認他們的罪. until they admit their guilt.
他們仍尋求我的面, And they will seek my face;
苦難中殷切尋求我." in their misery they earnestly seek me."
6. 勸民歸神(6:1-3):
1 來吧, 讓我們歸回耶和華! "Come, let us return to the Lord.
祂把我們撕粉碎, He has torn us to pieces
但祂會醫好我們; but he will heal us;
祂使我們受重傷, he has injured us
但祂會包好傷口. but he will bind up our wounds.
2 兩天後祂使我們活過, After two days he will revive us;
第三天祂使我們復原; on the third day he will restore us;
使我們在衪面前存活. that we may live in his presence.
3 讓我們認識耶和華, Let us acknowledge the Lord;
讓我們竭力認識祂. let us press on to acknowledge him.
有如日出祂必出現, As surely as the sun rises, he will appear;
祂像冬雨臨到我們, he will come to us like the winter rains,
又像春雨滋潤大地." like the spring rains that water the earth."
(II) 以色列受罰(6:4-10:15):
1. 責民虛偽(6:4-11):
4 以法蓮啊! 我要怎樣待你呢? "What can I do with you, Ephraim?
猶大啊! 我要怎樣待你呢? "What can I do with you, Judah?
你們的愛像晨霧, Your love is like the morning mist,
又像消失的朝露. like the early dew that disappears.
5 因此我藉先知砍碎你們, Therefore I cut you in pieces with my prophets,
用我口說的話誅殺你們; I killed you with the words of my mouth;
我更快如閃電審判你們. my judgments flashed like lightning upon you.
6 因我喜愛憐憫不愛獻祭, For I desire mercy, not sacrifice,
真心認識真神勝過燔祭. and acknowledgments of God rather than burnt offerings.
7 他們如亞當背約, Like Adam, they have broken the covenant -
在那裏不忠於我. they were unfaithful to me there.
8 基列是座惡人城, Gilead is a city of wicked men,
染滿了血的足跡. stained with footprints of blood.
9 像盜匪埋伏殺人, As marauders lie in ambush for a man,
祭司也結黨害人; so do bands of priests;
他＆「們在示劍路上謀殺. they murder on the road to Shechem,
犯下不可原宥可恥罪. committing shameful crimes.
10 我在以色列家見可怕事, I have seen a horrible thing in the house of Isreal.
以法蓮淫亂以色列污穢. There Ephraim is given to prostitution and Isreal is defiled.
11 猶大啊! Also for you Judah,
我已為你定好收割之日. a harvest is appointed.
我定必恢復我子民福祉. Whenever I would restore the fortunes of my people.
2. 責民作惡(7:1-7):
1 當我醫治以色列時, whenever I would heal Isreal,
以法蓮的罪惡暴露, the sins of Ephraim are exposed
撒瑪利亞犯罪掀開. and the crimes of Samaria revealed.
他們盡行詭話虛謊, They practice deceit,
小偷暗中破門偷竊, thieves break into houses,
盜賊大膽街上搶劫. bandits rob in the streests;
2 他們想不到我記得他們罪行,but they do not realize that I remember all their evil deeds.
在我的面前罪行把他們吞噬. heir sins engulf them; they are always before me.
3 他們以邪惡取悅君王, They delight the king with their wickedness,
同時以謊言討好臣宰. the princes with their lies.
4 他們全都犯姦淫行惡; They are all adulterers,
像烘焙師麵團未發前, burning like an oven whose fire the baker need not stir
暫且不把烤爐火挑旺. from the kneading of the dough till it rises.
5 在王舉行喜慶的日子, On the day of the festival of our king
群臣猛飲美酒慾火升, the princes become inflamed with wine,
酒後亂性牽浪人的手. and he joins hands with the mockers.
6 他們的心如熾熱火爐, Their hearts are like an oven;
以陰謀詭計去對付他. they approach him with intrigue.
他們夜間壓抑的熱情, Their passion smolders all night;
清晨爆發成熊熊烈焰. in the morning it blazes like a flaming fire.
7 他們全都熾熱如火爐, All of them are hot as an oven;
烈焰瞬即把首領吞噬, they devour their rulers.
他們的君王跌倒傾覆, All their kings fall,
沒有一個前來呼求我. and none of them calls on me.
3. 以法蓮罪(7:8-16):
8 以法蓮與外族混雜, Ephraim mixes with the nations;
以法蓮如未翻麵餅. Ephraim is a flat cake not turned over.
9 外族人耗盡他精力, Foreigners sap his strength,
他一點都察覺不到; but he does not realize it.
他的頭髮變得斑白, His hair is sprinkled with gray,
他也一點都不曉得. but he does not notice.
10 以色列驕傲害自己, Isreal's arrogance testifies against him,
縱然如此清楚明白, but despite all this
他仍不回轉耶和華他們的神 he does not return to the Lord his God
也不回心去尋求衪. or search for him.
11 以法蓮像笨鴿子, Ephraim is like a dove,
麻木無知易受騙; easily deceived and senseless -
一時向埃及求援, now calling to Egypt,
一時又投奔亞述. now turning to Assyria.
12 他們去我就向他們撒網, When they go, I will throw my net over them;
把他們像空中飛鳥抓下. I will pull them down like birds of the air.
我聽見他們聚集時, When I hear them flocking together,
就立即把他們捕捉. I will catch them.
13 他們真的有禍了, Woe to them,
因為他們離棄我! because they have strayed from me!
他們快要毀滅了, Destruction to them,
因為他們背叛我! because they have rebelled against me!
我早就想救贖他們, I long to redeem them
但他們撒謊詆毀我. but they speak lies against me.
14 他們沒真心向我呼求, They do not cry out to me from their hearts
但只在他們床上哀哭; but wail upon their beds.
他們聚集吃飯喝新酒, They gather together for grain and new wine
但無情遠遠地離開我. but turn away from me.
15 我訓練他們增強力量, I trained them and strengthened them
但他們反陰謀反抗我. but they plot evil against me.
16 他們像翻背的弓, They do not turn to the Most High;
沒真心歸至高者; they are like a faulty bow.
他們首領死刀下, Their lesders will fall by the sword
因他們出言不遜. because of their insolent words.
終在埃及受嘲笑. For this they will be ridiculed in the land of Egypt.
4. 責民背約(8:1-3):
1 把號角拿起來準備吹號! Put the trumpet to your lips!
老鷹在耶和華殿上盤旋, An eagle is over the house of the Lord
百姓背我約悖我律法.because the people have broken my covenant and rebelled against my law.
2 以色列向我呼求, Isreal cries out to me,
"我們的神啊, 我們認識你!" "O our God, we acknowledge you!"
3 但以色列拒絕良善, But Isreal has reejected what is good;
所以仇敵在追逐他. an enemy will pursue him.
5. 責民拜偶(8:4-14):
他們沒我同意擅立王, They set up kings without my consent;
4 未經我核准擅選臣宰. They choose princes without my approval.
他們以金銀為己造偶, With their silver and gold they make idols for themselve
致走向他們毀滅之路. to their own destruction.
5 撒瑪利亞啊, 丟掉你們的牛犢吧! Throw out your calf-idol, O Samaria!
我的烈怒要向他們發作. My anger burns against them.
他們不潔凈要到幾時呢? How long will they be incapable of purity?
6 這牛犢其實出自以色列! They are from Isreal!
是工匠手所造的不是神. This calf - a craftsman has made it; it is not God.
撒瑪利亞牛犢必被打碎. It will be broken in pieces, that calf of Samaria.
7 他們撒風卻收旋風, They sow the wind and reap the whirlwind.
麥苗無穗產無麵粉. The stalk has no head; it will produce no flour.
即使田中生產五穀, Were it to yield grain,
也給外族人吃精光. foreigners would swallow it up.
8 以色列現已被吞噬, Isreal is swallowed up;
在列國中如同廢物. now she is among the nations like a worthless thing.
9 因為他們投奔亞述, For they have gone up to Assyria
像頭野驢獨自流浪. like a wild donkey wandering alone.
以法蓮賣身給恩客, Ephraim has sold herself to lovers.
10 也曾在列國中賣身. Although they have sold themselves among the nations,
我現要把他們招聚; I will now gather them together.
在暴君壓迫折磨下, They will begin to waste away
讓他們漸耗竭消逝. under the oppression of the mighty king.
11 以法蓮建許多邱壇犯罪, Though Ephraim built many altars for sin offerings,
這壇乃成他們犯罪之壇. these have become altars for sinning.
12 我為他們寫下律法規條, I wrote for them the many things of my law,
但他們卻視為外族事物. but they regarded them as something alien.
13 他們獻上給我的祭物, They offer sacrifices given to me
並且大吃獻過祭的肉; and they eat the meat,
但耶和華不喜悅他們. but the Lord is not pleased with them.
現衪記住他們的邪惡, Now he will remember their wickedness
並且懲罰他們的罪惡; and punish their sins;
他們必會回到埃及去. They will return to Egypt.
14 以色列忘主去建宮室; Isreal has forgotten his Maker and built palaces;
猶大加強他們的城邑. Judah has fortified many towns.
我要降火燒他們的城, But I will send fire upon their cities
烈火將燒毀他們城堡. that will consume their fortresses.
6. 棄神被擄(9:1-9):
1 以色列啊! Do not rejoice, O Isreal;
不要歡喜像外族般狂歡. do not be jubilant like the other nations.
因你一直對你的神不忠; for you have been unfaithful to your God;
喜愛在禾場上無恥賣淫. you love the wages of a prostitute at every threshing floor.
2 禾場酒搾不能餵養百姓, Threshing floors and winepresses will not feed the people;
新酒也讓他們大失所望. the new wine will fail them.
3 他們不再留在主的地上, They will not remain in the Lord's land,
以法蓮定要回到埃及去, Ephraim will return to Egypt
並在亞述吃不潔的食物. and eat unclean food in Assyria.
4 他們不向耶和華獻酒奠, They will not pour out wine offerings to the Lord,
祂也不悅納他們的獻祭. nor will their sacrifices please him.
這樣獻祭就像喪家之餅, Such sacrifices will be to them like the bread of mourners;
凡吃這餅者必玷污不潔. all who eat them will be unclean.
所以他們只能自己食用, This food will be for themselves;
絕不可帶入耶和華的殿. it will not come into the temple of the Lord.
5 你們在已定節期和 What will you do on the day of your appointed feasts,
主的節日該做甚麼? on the festival days of the Lord?
6 即使他們逃過毀滅, Even if they escape from destruction.
埃及也會收容他們, Egypt will gather them,
摩弗會把他們埋葬. and Memphis will bury them.
他們的銀器長蒺藜, Their treaasures of silver will be taken over by briers,
他們的帳棚長荊棘. and thorns will overrun their tents.
7 懲 罰之日即將來臨, The days of punishment are coming,
算帳之日就在眼前. the days of reckoning are at hand.
這點要讓以色列知. Let Isreal know this.
因為你們罪孽深重, Because your sins are so many
且仇恨極大難消除; and your hostility so great,
先知都是愚蠢貨, the prophet is considered a fool,
靈動之人皆瘋狂. the inspired man a maniac.
8 先知原本與我的神, The prophet, along with my God,
都是以法蓮守望者; is the watchman over Ephraim,
然而他的路上滿佈網羅, yet snares await him on all paths,
而他的神殿中充滿仇恨. and hostility in the house of his God.
9 他們深陷邪惡敗壞, They have sunk deep into corruption,
一如當日的基比亞. as in the days of Gibeth.
神必記得他們的邪惡, God will remember their wickedness
還要懲罰他們的罪孽. and punish them for their sin.
7. 犯罪後果(9:10-17):
10 我初次遇見以色列, When I found Isreal,
就如在曠野見葡萄; it was like finding grapes in the desert;
我看見你們列祖時, when I saw your fathers,
就如見初熟無花果. it was like seeing the early fruit on the fig tree.
他們來到巴力毘珥; But when they came to Baal Peor,
就去膜拜可恥偶像, they consecrated themselves to that shameful idol
與所愛偶像同邪惡. and became as vile as the thing they loved.
11 以法蓮榮光如鳥飛去, Ephraim's glory will fly away like bird -
不生育不懷胎不成孕. no birth, no pregnancy, no conception.
12 即使他們在養育兒女, Even if they rear children,
我必使他們喪子絕後. I will bereave them of every one.
我離棄他們就有禍了! Woe to them when I turn awy from them!
13 我見以法蓮如推羅, I have seen Ephraim, like Tyre,
栽植在肥美沃土上. planted in a pleasant place.
但是以法蓮卻親自 But Ephraim will bring out
把兒女交在屠夫手. their children to the slayer.
14 耶和華啊! Give them, O Lord -
賜給他們你要賜給他們的. what will you give them.
賜給他們不孕子宮, Give them wombs that miscarry
和不出乳水的乳房. and breasts that are dry.
15 因為他們在吉甲的邪惡, Because of all their wickedness in Gilgal,
我恨透他們在那裏所為. I hated them there.
因為他們的罪惡行為, Because of their sinful deeds,
我要把他們趕出家門. I will drive them out of my house.
而且我也不再愛他們 I will no longer love them;
他們的首領全是叛徒. all their leaders are rebellious.
16 以法蓮凋謝零落, Ephraim is blighted,
他們的根也枯萎, their root is withered,
故他們不再結果. they yield no fruit.
即使他們在養育兒女, Even if they rear children,
我必誅殺他們的愛子. I will slay their cherished offsprings.
17 我的神必棄絕他們, My God will reject them
因為他們不順服祂; because they have not obeyed him;
他們必在列國流浪. they will be wanderers among the nations.
8. 再責拜偶(10:1-8):
1 以色列曾是茂盛葡萄樹, Isreal was a spreading vine;
為自己大結果子, he brought forth fruit for himself.
果實增多, 所建邱壇也增多; As his fruit increased, he built more altars;
土地興旺, 樹立柱像越宏麗. as his land prospered, he adorned his sacred stones.
2 他們的心詭詐, Their heart is deceitful,
現需承受己罪. and now they must bear their guilt.
主必拆毀邱壇, The Lord will demolish their altars
同時毀壞柱像. and destroy their sacred stones.
3 那時他們會說: "我們沒有王, Then they will say, "We have no king
因我們不尊崇耶和華. because we did not revere the Lord.
但是即使我們有王, But even if we had a king,
他能為我們做甚麼?" what could he do for me?"
4 他們滿口虛假承諾, They make many promises,
只是發假誓立盟約. take false oath and make agreements;
因此纏訟四起不斷, therefore lawsuits spring up
像毒草蔓延犁田間. like poisonous weeds in plowed field.
5 至撒瑪利亞的居民, The people who live in Samaria fear
害怕伯亞文的牛犢. for the calf-idol of Beth Aven.
拜偶的百姓和祭司 Its people will mourn over it,
同聲一齊發出哀號; and so will its idolatrous priests,
因曾為牠榮耀歡欣者, those who had rejoiced over its splendor,
現都沉淪悲慘全被擄. because it is taken from them into exile.
6 牛犢隨之帶到亞述, It will be carried to Assyria
當作貢品獻大君王. as tribute for the great king.
以法蓮蒙羞難抬頭, Ephraim will be disgraced;
以色列因木偶蒙羞. Isreal will be ashamed of its wooden idols.
7 撒瑪利亞君民像枯枝, Samaria and its king will float away
大水上漂流消失無蹤. like a twig on the surface of the waters.
8 以色列邪惡罪壇必毀滅,The high places of wickedness will be distroyed - it is the sin of Isreal.
邱壇必長滿荊棘和蒺藜. Throns and thistles will grow up and cover their altars.
那時他們會對大山說: "遮蓋我們吧!" Then they will say to the mountains, "Cover us!"
並且會對小山說: "倒在我們身上吧!" and to the hills, "Fall on us!"
9. 神的審判(10:9-15):
9 以色列啊! 自基比亞之日你們就犯罪, Since the day of Gibeah, you have sinned, O Isreal,
你們一直留在那裏. and there you have remained.
戰禍豈不殃及基比亞惡人? Did not war overtake the evildoers in Gibeah?
10 我高興時會懲罰他們, When I please, I will punish them;
招聚列國去攻擊他們, nations will be gathered against them
讓他們承擔雙重罪孽. to put them in bonds for their double sin.
11 以法蓮是頭馴服母牛, Ehpraim is a trained heifer that loves to thresh;
故我要把軛置牠頸項. so I will put a yoke on her fair neck.
我要使以法蓮耕田, I will drive Ephraim,
猶大犁田雅各耙地. Judah mist plow, and Jacob must break up the ground.
12 為自己撒播公義, Sow for yourself righteousness,
好收割無盡慈愛; reap the fruit of unfailing love,
犁耙未開墾荒地, and break up your unplowed ground,
因正是尋求主時, for it is time to seek the Lord,
讓祂來時灑公義. until he comes and showers righteousness on you.
13 不幸你們竟栽植邪惡, But you have planted wickedness,
你們收割的自是罪惡, you have reaped evil,
所吃的都是詭詐之果. you have eaten the fruit of deception.
因你們依靠自己力量, Because you have depended on your own strength
以及你們精練的勇士; and on your many warriors,
14 戰場吶喊四起攻你民, The roar of battle will rise against your people,
你們所有城堡被摧毀, so that all your fortresses will be devastated -
如戰爭之日沙勒幔摧毀伯亞比勒, as Shalman devastated Beth Arbel on the day of battle,
那日慈母愛子同摔死.when mothers were dashed to the ground with their children.
15 伯特利啊! Thus will it happen to you,
因你們罪大惡極 O Bethel,
上述慘劇必發生. because your wickedness is great.
那日黎明的時候, When that day dawns,
以色列王盡毀滅. the king of Isreal will be completely destroyed.
(III) 耶和華信實(11:1-14:9):
1. 忘恩負義(11:1-4):
1 以色列年幼時我愛他, When Isreal was a child, I loved him,
我從埃及召出我愛子. and out of Egypt I call my son.
2 但我越是呼召以色列, the further they went from me.
他們向巴力獻祭, They sacrificed to the Baals
還要向偶像燒香. and they burned incense to images.
3 是我教以法蓮走路, It was I who taught Ephraim to walk,
還用雙臂帶過他們; taking them by the arms;
他們不覺是我醫治他們. but they did not realize it was I who healed them.
4 我用慈繩愛索牽領他們, I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love;
並從他們頸上除下牛軛, I lifted the yoke from their neck
還彎下身子親自餵他們. and bent down to feed them.
2. 必受重罰(11:-5-7):
5 "因為他們不肯悔改, "Will they not return to Egypt
他們不會重回埃及 and will not Assyria rule over them
再受亞述的統治嗎? because they refuse to repent?
6 刀劍必在城邑飛舞, Swords will flash in their cities,
毀壞他們的城門閂, will destroy the bars of gates
結束他們預定計劃. and put an end to their plan.
7 我子民決意離開我, My people are determinded to turn from me.
即使他們求至高者, Even if they call to the Most High,
祂也不會高舉他們. he will by no means exalt them.
3. 神施憐愛(11:-8-11):
8 以法蓮啊, 我怎能捨棄你? "How can I give you up, Ephraim?
以色列啊, 我怎能把你交出去? How can I hand you over, Isreal?
我怎能待你如押瑪? How can I treat you like Admah?
我怎能使你像洗扁? How can I make you like Zeboim?
我的內心在改變, My heart is changed within me;
我的憐愛在散發. all my compassion is aroused.
9 我不會讓我的烈怒發作, I will not carry out my fierce anger,
也不會轉向毀滅以法蓮, nor will I turn and devastate Ephraim.
因為我是神不是人, For I am God, and not man -
是你們中間的聖者, the Holy One among you
我不會帶忿怒而來. I will not come in wrath.
10 他們會跟隨耶和華, They will follow the Lord;
當衪大聲吼叫之時, he will roar like a lion.
祂會像雄獅般吼叫. When he roars,
子民就從西戰兢來. his children will come trembling from the west.
11 他們像埃及鳥亞述鴿, They will come trembling
戰戰兢兢盡力飛回來. like birds from Egypt, like doves from Assyria.
我必把他們安置在家," I will settle them in their homes,"
這是耶和華的宣示. declares the Lord.
4. 選民罪惡(11:12):
12 以法蓮以謊言包圍我, Ephraim has surrounded me with lies,
以色列以詭詐籠罩我; the house of Isreal with deceit.
猶大無法無天攻擊神. And Judah is unruly against God,
甚至攻擊信實的聖者. even against the faithful Holy One.
5. 責雅各猶大罪(12:1-6):
1 以法蓮不住喝風, Ephraim feeds on the wind;
並整日追逐東風、 he pursues the east wind all day
無盡謊言及暴力. and multiplies lies and violence.
他與亞述簽盟約, He makes a treaty with Assyria
並送埃及橄欖油. and sends olive oil to Egypt.
2 耶和華已控猶大, The Lord has a charge to bring against Judah;
祂按所行罰雅各, he will punish Jacob according to his ways
並依行為報應他. and repay him according to his deeds.
3 他在胎中緊抓兄腳跟, In the womb he grasp his brother's heel;
長大成人還與神爭鬥. a man he struggled with God.
4 他與天使摔跤還得勝, He struggled with angel and overcome him;
並向天使哀哭求施恩. he wept and begged for his favor.
他在伯特利與神交談. He found him at Bethel and talked with him there.
5 耶和華萬軍之神, The Lord God Almighty,
耶和華是衪尊稱! the Lord is his name of renown!
6 你必需回歸你的神; But you must return to your God;
以維持慈愛與公正, maintain love and justice,
並且要常常等候神. and wait for your God always.
6. 責以法蓮罪(12:7-14):
7 商人使用不法天平, The merchant uses dishonest scales;
喜行詭詐去欺騙人. Ephraim boasts,
"我非常富有成富翁, "I am very rich; I have become wealthy.
富中找不到我罪過." With all my wealth they will not find in me any iniquity or sin."
9 "我是耶和華你們的神, "I am the Lord your God,
曾把你們從埃及領出來; who brought you out of Egypt;
我要讓你們重新住帳棚, I will make you live in tents again,
像在節日裏住帳棚一樣. as in the days of your appointed feasts.
10 我親自向眾先知宣示, I spoke to the prophets,
顯示很多異象和寓言. gave them many vusions and told parables through them."
11 基列邪惡嗎? Is Gilead wicked?
百姓都敗壞! Its people are worthless!
他們不是在吉甲獻牛犢祭嗎? Do they sacrifice bulls in Gilgal?
他們的邱壇像犁田中的石堆. Their altars will be like piles of stones on a plowed field.
12 雅各躲以東逃亞蘭, Jacob fled to the country of Aram;
以色列作工為娶妻, Isreal served to get a wife,
為妻付出一大群羊. and to pay for her he tended sheep.
13 耶和華藉先知領以色列上埃及, The Lord used a prophet to bring Isreal up from Egypt,
也著藉先知眷顧他. by a prophet he cared for him.
14 然而以法蓮痛苦中觸怒神, But Ephraim has bitterly provoked him to anger;
他的主把流人血的罪歸他, his Lord will leave upon him the guilt of his bloodshed
讓他的輕蔑得到應有報應. and will repay him for his comtempt.
7. 拜偶失榮(13:1-3):
1 以法蓮一出言世人震驚, When Ephraim spoke, men trembled;
他原在以色列地位崇高. he was exalted in Isreal.
惜因犯拜巴力罪而身亡. But he became guilty of Baal worship and died.
2 現在他們犯罪變本加厲, Now they sin more and more;
他們以銀為自己造偶像, they make idols for themselves from their silver,
全是巧匠精巧手工所造. cleverly fashioned images, all of them the work of craftsmen.
這些人說: It is said of these people,
"向偶像獻祭者得親牛犢." "They offer human sacrfice and kiss the calf-idols."
3 因此他們像晨霧, Therefore they will be like the morning mist,
像朝露瞬間消失; like the early dew that disappears,
像禾場糠秕吹散, like chalf swirling from a threshing floor,
又像煙從窗口出. like smoke escaping through a window.
8. 驕而忘主(13:4-8)
4 "我是耶和華你們的神, "But I am the Lord your God,
曾把你們領出埃及; who brought you out of Egypt.
除我以外別無他神, You shall ackonwledge no God but me.
除我以外別無救主. No Savior except me.
5 我在曠野不毛之處, I cared for you in the desert,
酷熱之地眷顧你們. in the land of burning heat.
6 我餵養他們得飽足, When I fed them, they were satisfied;
飽足以後得意忘形; when they were satisfied, they became proud;
於是把我忘得乾淨. then they forgot me.
7 故我要像獅子對他們, So I will come upon them like a lion,
又要像豹埋伏在路旁. like a leopard I will lurk by the path.
8 我要像失幼熊的母熊, Like a bear robbed of her cubs,
攻擊他們並撕裂他們. I will attack them and rip them open.
更要像獅子吞噬他們, Like a lion I will devour them;
一 頭野獸把他們撕碎. a wild animal will tear them apart.
9. 受重刑罰(13:9-16)
9 "以色列啊, 你必毀滅! "You are destroyed, O Isreal,
因你悖逆我, 悖逆你的救星. because you are against me, against your helper.
10 拯救你的王在那裏? Where is your king, that he may save you?
你們曾要求: '給我們立王和臣宰!' Where are your rulers in all your towns,
現你們各城首領在那裏? of whom you said, 'Give me a king and princes?'
11 我乃於怒中為你們立王, So in my anger I gave you a king,
也在烈怒之中把他廢棄. and in my wrath I took him away.
12 以法蓮的罪惡點滴積存, The guilt of Ephraim is stored up,
他的罪孽全都記在簿上. his sins are kept on record.
13 他將受產婦生產的痛苦, Pains as of a woman in childbirth come to him,
惜他是個沒智慧的孩子, but he is a child without wisdom;
產期到他還遲疑不出胎. when the time arrives, he does not come to the opening of the womb.
14 我要救贖他們脫離陰間權勢, I will ransom them from the power of the grave;
還要盡力救贖他們脫離死亡. I will redeem them from death.
死亡啊! 你的瘟疫在那裏? Where,O death, are your plagues?
陰間啊! 你的毀滅在那裏? Where, O grave, is your destruction?
"我的憐憫快消失殆盡, "I will have no compassion,
15 即使他在兄弟中興旺, even though he thrives among his brothers.
耶和華的東風快吹起, An east wind from the Lord will come,
從曠野中猛烈颳進來, blowing in from the desert;
衪的泉水將斷井將枯. his spring will fail and his well dry up.
庫中珍寶將被搶淨盡. His storehouse will be plundered of all its treasures.
16 撒瑪利亞百姓擔罪惡, The people of Samaria must bear the guilt,
因他們悖逆他們的神. because they have rebelled against their God.
他們都將死在刀劍下, They will fall by the sword,
他們的嬰孩摔死地上, their little ones will be dashed to the ground,
他們的孕婦破腹而亡." their pregnant women ripped open."
10. 勸民歸神(14:1-3):
1 以色列啊! 歸回耶和華你們的神. Retuen, O Isreal, to the Lord your God.
你們的罪惡使你們沉淪! Your sins have been your downfall!
2 帶著衪的道歸回耶和華, Take words with you and return to
並對衪說: Say to him:
"赦免我們的罪, 開恩接納我們, "Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously,
好讓我們獻上嘴唇果子." that we may offer the fruit of our lips."
3 亞述不能救我們, Assyria cannot save us;
我們不能騎戰馬, we will not mount war-horses.
也不再對我們手造的說: We will never again say 'Our gods'
'我們的神!' to what our own hands have made.
因在你那裏孤兒得憐恤." for in you the fatherless find compassion."
11. 再施憐愛(14:4-9):
4 "我必醫治他們的頑梗憐愛 "I will heal their waywardness and love them freely,
因我的怒氣已遠離他們. for my anger has turned away from them.
5 我對以色列如甘露, I will be like the dew to Isreal;
使他如百合花盛開; he will blossom like a lily.
又像黎巴嫩香柏樹扎根. Like a cedar of Labanon he will send down his roots.
6 他的幼枝滋長伸展全地. his young shoots will grow.
祂的榮華光輝像橄欖樹 His splendor will be like an olive tree,
祂的芳香散發像香柏樹. his fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon.
7 百姓將再住在衪樹蔭下, Men will dwell again in his shade.
他們如五穀茂盛大豐收; He will flourish like the grain.
又如葡樹的花兒開滿樹, He will blossom like a vine,
聲譽卓著如黎巴嫩美酒. and his fame will be like the wine from Lebanon.
8 以法蓮啊! 我還要怎樣對付偶像? O Ephraim, what more have I
我會答覆他眷顧他. I will answer him and care for him.
我好像一棵青松樹, I am like a green pine tree;
你們的信實從我來." your faithfulness comes from me."
9 誰有智慧? 能明白這些事, Who is wise? He will realize these things.
誰有見識? 能領會這一切. Who is discerning? He will understand them.
耶和華的道路正直, The ways of the Lord are right;
義人都行走在那路, the righteous walk in them,
叛徒卻在那路跌倒. but the rebellious stumble in them.
