才德女子(31:10-31)
10 誰能找到才德女子? A wife of noble character who can find?
她比紅寶石更寶貴. She worth far more than rubies.
11 丈夫完全信任她, Her husband has full confidence in her
生活富足無所缺. and lacks nothing of value.
12 終其一生的年日, She brings him good, not harm,
對丈夫有益無害. all the days of her life.
13 她選好羊毛細麻, She selects wool and fax
雙手樂意去編織. and works with eager hands.
14 她好像一艘商船, She is like the merchant ships,
從遠方運糧食來. bringing her food from afar.
15 她天未亮就起床, She gets up while it is still dark;
為家人預備食物, she provides food for her family
分派婢女去工作. and portions for her servant girls.
16 找到良田就買下, She considers a field and buys it;
賺錢栽種葡萄園. out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.
17 她勤奮努力工作, She sets about her work vigorously;
強壯雙臂去作工, her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 她喜見經營獲利, She sees that her trading is profitable,
她的燈終夜不滅. and her lamp does not go out at night.
19 她手拿著捲線杆, In her hand she holds the distaff
指頭抓住紡織錘. and grasp the spindle with her fingers.
20 她張手施捨窮人, she opens her arms to the poor
並伸手扶持貧困. and extends her hands to the needy.
21 下雪不為家人憂, When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
全家穿著大紅襖. for all of them are clothed in scarlet.

26 她口說智慧言語, She speaks with wisdom,
且舌出信實教誨. and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 她親身監管家務, She watches over the affairs of her household
絕對不白吃閒飯. and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 兒女群起祝福她, Her children arise and call her blessed;
丈夫祝福讚美她. her husband also, and he praises her.
29 "才德女子世上多, "Many women do noble things,
妳超越勝過她們." but you surpass them all."
30 艷麗虛假, 美容易逝, Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
惟敬畏耶和華才女值得稱讚. but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31 給她應得的報償, Give her the reward she has earned,
讓她的工作在城門口受讚揚. and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
