第九章 義僕蒙召與以色列復興(I)
I. 義僕蒙召(49:1-13):
1 眾海島啊! 當聽我說; Listen to me , you islands;
遠方列國啊! 要聽這言: hear this, you distant nations:
出生前耶和華就呼召我, Before I was born the Lord called me;
出生後衪就提我的名. from my birth he has made mention of my name.
2 衪使我口似利劍, He made my mouth like a sharpened sword,
藏我在祂手影中; in the shadow of his hand he hid me;
使我成磨亮利箭, he made me into a polished arrow
藏在祂的箭袋裏. and concealed me in his quiver.
3 衪對我說: "你是我的僕人以色列, He said to me, "You are my servant,
我要在他身上顯榮耀." Isreal, in whom I will display my splendor."
4 而我說: But I said,
"我盲目勞碌－生, I have labored to no purpose;
虛空中白費氣力; I have spent my strength in vain and for nothing.
所得都來自神手, Yet what is due me is in the Lord 's hand,
一切賞賜全靠神." and my reward is with my God."
5 現耶和華說: And now the Lord says,
"我還在母胎之中, "he who formed me in the womb
祂就造我成其僕, to be his servant,
使雅各回衪身邊, to bring Jacob back to him
以色列集祂面前, and gather Isreal to himself,
因耶和華珍視我, for I am honnored in the eyes of the Lord
神就是我的力量." and my God has been my strength."
6 衪又說: he says,
"我要你作我僕人, "It is too small a thing
復興雅各的支派, for you to be my servant
領回我的以色列, to restore the tribes of Jacob
這些都算是小事. and bring back those of Isreal I Have kept.
要作外邦人之光 I will also make you a light for the Gentiles,
把救恩傳到地極." that you may bring my salvation to the ends of the earth."
7 耶和華這樣說: This is what the Lord says -
以色列的救贖主和聖者, the Redeemer and Holy One of Isreal -
列國都藐視厭惡和 to him who was despised and abhored by the nation,
統治者役使僕人說: to the servant of rulers:
"君王見你必起立, "Kings will see you and rise up,
權貴見你必俯首, princes will see and bow down,
因信實的耶和華, because of the Lord, who is faithful,
以色列的聖者揀選你." the Holy One of Isreal, who has chosen you."
8 耶和華這樣說: This is what the Lord says:
"我喜悅時回應你, "In the time of my favor I will answer you,
救恩之日幫助你; and in the day of salvation I will help you;
我立你為民中保, I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people,
復興重分荒涼地; to restore the land and to reassign its desolate inheritances,
9 對擄民說: '出來吧!' to say to captives, 'Come out,'
對囚民說: '自由了!' and to those in darkness, 'Be free!'
他們路旁得飲食, "They will feed beside the roads
荒山野嶺有草場. and find pasture on every barren hill.
10 他們不饑也不渴, They will neither hunger nor thirst,
野熱嬌陽不傷身. nor will the desert heat or the sun beat upon them.
好心善人親帶領, He who has compassion on them will guide them,
帶到甘泉清水旁. and lead them beside springs of water.
11 我使高山成大路, I will turn all my mountains into roads,
康莊大道紛隆起. and my highways will be raised up.
12 看哪他們遠方來, See, they will come from afar -
有從南來有從西, some from the north, some from the west,
更有來自亞斯萬." some from the region of Aswan."
13 諸天啊, 大聲歡呼吧! Shout for joy, O heavens;
大地啊, 全心歡樂吧! rejoice, O earth;
高山啊, 盡情歡唱吧! burst into song, O mountains!
因耶和華慰子民, For the Lord comforts his people
憐憫困苦中百姓. and will have compassion on his afflicted ones.
II. 選民復興(49:14-26):
14 錫安卻說: "耶和華離棄我, But Zion said, "The Lord has forsaken me,
我的主忘記我." the Lord has forgotten me."
15 "母親豈會忘記懷中嬰兒, "Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
也不憐憫親生的兒子呢? and have no compassion on the the child she has borne?
母可忘兒, 我不忘你! Though she may forget, I will not forget you!
16 看哪! 我已把你刻在我掌上, See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands;
你的牆垣常在我面前. your walls are ever before me.
17 你的兒女急速歸來, Your sons hasten back,
殘害你的紛紛離去. and those who laid you waste depart from you.
18 張開你眼四面觀看, Lift up your eyes and look around;
你的兒女齊來.聚集" all your sons gather and come to you."
耶和華宣示說: declares the Lord,
"我以我的永生起誓, "As surely as I live,
你要以他們為裝飾, you will wear them all as ornaments;
像新娘以他們裝扮. you will put them on, like a bride.
19 你那毀壞荒涼之地, Though you were ruined and made desolate and your land waste,
現已太小為民居住, now you will be too small for your people,
而吞噬你的必遠離. and those who devoured you will be far away.
20 淪喪以後所生子女, The children born during your bereavement
都會同聲對著你說: will yet say in your hearing,
我們居住地方太小, This place is too small for us,
要給更大地方安居.' give us more space to live in.'
21 然而你的心裏會說: Then you will say in your heart,
我喪子又不能生育, Who bore me these?
放逐在外邦被棄絕, I was bereavedand barren;
誰給我生這些孩子? I was exiled and rejected.
誰給我養這些孩子? Who brought these up?
我獨自一人被撇下, I was left all alone,
這些孩子從何而來?'" but these - where have they come from?'"
22 主耶和華這樣說: This is what the Sovereign Lord says:
"看哪! 我要向外邦人招手, "See, I will beckon to the Gentilles,
向萬民高舉我的旗幟; I will lift up my banner to the peoples;
他們會抱你的兒子來, they will bring your sons in their arms
肩背你的女兒上前來. and carry your daughters on their shoulders.
23 列國君王成為你義父, Kings will be your foster fathers,
各國王后都成你奶娘. and their queens your nursing mothers.
他們臉伏地向你下拜, They will bow down before you with their faces to the ground;
又在你腳前頻舐塵土. they will lick the dust at your feet.
你就知道我是耶和華, Then you will know that I am the Lord;
使仰望我的都不失望. those who hope in me will not be disappointed."
24 被搶之物怎能從勇土手中奪回, Can plunder be taken from warriors,
被擄的人怎能從暴徒牢裏救出? or captives rescued from the fierce?
25 但耶和華這樣說: But this is what the Lord says,
"被搶之物可從勇土手中奪回, "Yes, captives will be taken from warriors,
被擄的人可從暴徒牢裏救出; and plunder retrived from the fierce;
我必與跟你們爭鬦的人爭鬦, I will contend with those who contend with you,
也要盡力去拯救你們的兒女. and your children I will save.
26 我必使欺壓你們的自食其肉, I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh;
也使他們喝自己的血如喝酒. they will be drunk on their own blood, as with wine.
這樣, 全人類就會知道: Then all mankind will know
我是你的救主耶和華, that I, the Lord, am your Savior,
你的救贖主, 雅各的大能者." your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob."
III. 選民罪孽與義僕順服(50:1-11):
(I) 選民罪孽(50:1-3):
1 耶和華這樣說: This is what the Lord says:
"我離棄你們母親 "Where is your mother's certificate of divorce
的休書在那裏? with which I sent her away?
我把你們賣給那一個債主? Or which of my creditors did I sell you?
因你們的罪才把你們出賣, Because of your sins you were sold;
因你們的過犯才休你們的母親. because of your transgressions your mother was sent away.
2 我來時為何沒人在? When I came, why was there no one?
呼召時為何沒人答? When I called, why was there no one to answer?
難道我臂短不能救贖? Was my arm too short to rensom you?
力弱不能拯救嗎? Do I lack strength to rescue you?
只要我一斥責, 海就乾涸, By a mere rebuke I dry up the sea,
我也能使沙漠成江河; I turn rivers into a desert;
魚缺水而腐臭, their fish rot for lack of water
因乾渴而死亡. and die of thirst.
3 我以黑暗為衣蓋高天, I clothe the sky with darkness
並以麻布遮天空." and make sackcloth its covering."
(II) 義僕順服(50:4-11):
4 主耶和華賜我受教舌, The Sovereign Lord has given me an instructed tongue,
知用言語扶助疲乏人. to know the word that sustains the weary.
衪每天早晨把我喚醒, He wakens me morning by morning,
喚醒我的耳朵好聽教. wakens my ear to listen like one being taught.
5 主耶和華打開我耳朵, The Sovereign Lord has opened my ears,
我沒叛逆也沒有後退. and I have not been rebellious; I have not drawn back.
6 我露背給鞭打我的人, I offered my back to those who beat me,
送頰給拔我鬍鬚的人; my cheeks to those who pulled out my beard;
臉朝向我吐口水的人. I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting.
7 原因是主耶和華助我, Because the Sovereign Lord helps me,
衪不會使我受到羞辱. I will not be disgraced.
因此我就板起硬石臉, Therefore have I set my face like flint,
知道絕不會蒙羞受辱. and I know I will not be put to shame.
8 為我辯護的愈來愈近, He who vindicates me is near.
那時誰還會控訴我呢? Who then will bring charges against me?
讓我們彼此面對! Let us face each other!
誰是我的控訴者? Who is my accuser?
讓他與我對抗吧! Let him confront me!
9 主耶和華－直幫助我, It is the Sovereign Lord who helps me.
現誰能夠定我的罪呢? Who is he that will condemm me?
他們全都像破舊衣裳, They will all wear out like a garment;
蛀蟲定會把他們吃光. the moth will eat them up.
10 你們中間誰敬畏耶和華 Who among you fears the Lord
會去聽從衪僕人說的話? and obeys the word of his servant?
讓黑暗中行走看不見亮光的, Let him who walks in the dark, who has no light,
信靠耶和華的名信賴他的神. trust in the name of the Lord and rely on his God.
11 現你們點火 But now, all you who light fires
手執火炬的, and provide yourselves with flaming touches,
去吧, 在你的火把 go, walk in the light of your fires
和火炬點亮下前進! and of the touches you have set ablaze.
這是你們將從我手中得到的: This is what you shall receive from my hand:
你們必躺在痛苦煎熬中. You will lie down in torment.
IV. 安慰餘民(51:1-52:12):
(I) 安慰錫安(51:1-16):
1 追求公義, 尋求耶和華的啊! Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness
要聽我的話. and who seek the Lord:
看你鏧出的磬石, Look to the rock from which you were out
和你挖出的礦石; and to the quarry from which you were hewn;
2 再看你父亞伯拉罕, look to Abraham, your father,
和生你的撒拉. and to Sarah, who gave you birth.
他獨自一人之時, 我呼召他, When I called him he was but one,
我賜福給他, 使他多子多孫. and I blessed him and made him many.
3 耶和華定必去安慰錫安, The Lord will surely comfort Zion
憐憫看顧錫安所有廢墟; and will look with compassion on all her ruins;
祂使曠野變伊甸園, he will make her deserts like Eden,
荒漠變耶和華花園. her wastelands like the garden of the Lord.
錫安充滿歡喜快樂, Joy and gladness will be found in her,
四處洋溢感恩歌聲. thanksgiving and the sound of singing.
4 "我的子民啊! 細聽我言; "Listen to me, my people;
我的族人啊! 要聽我說: hear me, my nation:
律法必從我而出, The law will go out from me;
公正成萬國之光, my justice will become a light to the nations,
5 公義臨近快速來, My righteousness draws new speedily,
救恩也正在路上, my salvation is on the way,
膀臂要審判列國. and my arm will bring justice to the nations.
島民都在仰望我, The islands will look to me
盼望膀臂早發威. and wait in hope for my arm.
6 抬頭張目望諸天, Lift up your eyes to the heavens,
低頭俯視全大地; look at the earth beneath;
諸天消失如煙雲, the heavens will vanish like smoke,
大地穿破如衣裳, the earth will wear out like a garment
地上居民如蠅死. and its inhabitants die like flies.
而我救恩永長久, But my salvation will last forever,
公義堅立永不廢. my righteousness will never fail.
7 "明白公義, 心存律法的人啊! "Hear me, you who know what is right,
要聽我說: you people have my law in your hearts:
不要怕人的辱罵, Do not fear the reproach of men
也勿懼人的毀謗. or be terrified by their insults.
8 因蛀蟲吃人如衣, For the moth will eat them up like a garment;
蟲子吃人如羊毛. the worm will devour them like wool.
而我的公義長存, But my righteousness will last forever,
我的救恩到萬代." my salvation through out all generations."
9 耶和華的膀臂啊! Awake, awake! Clothe yourself with strength,
醒起! 醒起! 穿上力量衣裳; O arm of the Lord;
像舊日古代－樣醒起. awake, as in days gone by, as in generations of old.
砍碎拉哈伯, 刺透怪物的, Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces,
不就是你嗎? pierced that monster through?
10 使大海深淵乾涸的, Was it not you who dried up the sea,
不也是你嗎? the waters of the great deep,
誰在海的深處開出大路, who make a road to the depths of the sea
讓蒙救贖的人安然走過? so that the redeemed might cross over?
11 耶和華救贖的必歸回, The ransomed of the Lord will return,
他們載歌載舞進錫安, They will enter Zion with singing;
永遠歡樂成頭上冠冕. everlasting joy will crown their heads.
他們都充滿歡喜快樂, Galdness and joy will overtake them,
愁煩嘆息消失無影蹤. and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
12 我, 我耶和華安慰你們, "I, even I, am he who comforts you.
你是誰, 竟怕那必死之人, Who are you that you fear mortal men,
世人之子只不過是地上草, the sons of men, who are but grass,
13 你竟忘了創造你的耶和華, that you forget the Lord your Maker,
衪展開諸天, who stretched out the heavens
立大地根基. and laid the foundations of the earth,
因欺壓者存心毀滅發烈怒, that you live in constant terror every day
你們不就終日活在恐懼中? because of the wrath of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction?
其實欺壓者的烈怒在那裏? For where is the wrath of the oppressor?
14 戰抖的被擄者快要釋放, The cowering prisoners will soon be set free;
他們不會死在牢籠, they will not die in their dungeon,
也不會缺糧挨饑餓. nor will they lack bread.
15 因我是耶和華你們的神, For I am the Lord your God,
衪攪動大海使波濤洶湧; who churns up the sea so that its waves roar -
萬軍之耶和華是衪的名. the Lord Almighty is his name.
16 我把我的話語放你口中, I have put my words in your mouth
也用我的手蔭蔽護你們; and covered you with the shadow of my hand -
我定諸天奠立大地根基. I who set the heavens in place, who laid the foundations of the earth,
並對錫安說: '你們是我的子民.'" and who say to Zion , 'You are my people.'"
(II) 忿怒的杯(51:17-23):
17 耶路撒冷啊! Awake, awake!
醒來, 醒來, 站起來! Rise up, O Jerusalem,
你們喝了耶和華手中 you who have drunk from the hand of the Lord
烈怒之杯, the cup of his wrath,
喝盡祂那 you who have drained to its dregs
18 使人搖幌的爵. the goblet that makes men stagger.
在她所生眾子中, Of all the sons he bore
無一牽引她; there was none to guide her;
在她所養眾子中, of all the sons she reared
無一扶持她. there was none to take her by the hand.
19 荒涼與毀滅, 饑荒與刀劍, These double calamities have come upon you -
雙重災禍一同臨到你們時, who can comfort you?
誰能安慰你們? ruin and destruction, famine and sword -
誰能撫慰你們? who can console you?
20 你們的子孫昏倒, Your sons have fainted;
躺臥在每個街頭, they lie at the head of every street,
如羚羊被捕網中. like antilope caught in a net.
他們飽嚐神烈怒, They are filled with the wrath of the Lord
受盡你們神斥責. and the rebuke of your God.
21 所以, 非酒而醉受災的人啊! Therefore hear this, you afflicted one,
細聽這話. make drunk, but not with wine.
22 你的主耶和華, This is what your Sovereign Lord says,
保護子民的神這樣說: your God, who defends his people.
"看哪! 我已從你手中 "See, I have taken out of your hand
把使你搖幌的杯 the cup that made you stagger;
和我烈怒的爵拿開, from that cup, the goblet of my wrath,
你不再會喝這杯. you will never drink again.
23 我要把這杯放在苦待你的人手中, I will put into the hands of your tormentors,
他們對你說: who said to you,
爬在地上好讓我們踩過.' Fall pro strate that we may walk over you.'
於是你以背當地, And you made your back like the ground,
像街道一般任人走過." like a street to be walked over."
(III) 神救聖城(52:1-12):
1 醒起, 醒起, 錫安啊! Awake, awake, O Zion,
你要穿上力量衣裳. Clothe yourself with strength.
聖城耶路撒冷啊! Put on your garments of splendor,
你要穿上華美衣裝. O Jerusalem, the holy city.
因今後未受割禮和不潔淨的人, The uncircumcised and defiled
不能再進入你中間. will not enter you again.
2 耶路撒冷啊! 抖下塵土, Shake off your dust;
起來, 坐上王座! rise up, sit enthroned, O Jerusalem.
被擄的錫安兒女啊! Free yourself from the chains on your neck,
解開你頸上的鎖鏈. O captive Dauighter of Zion.
3 因耶和華這樣說: For this is what the Lord says:
"你們被賣時未收分文, "You were sold for nothing,
贖回你們也無需付款." and without money you will be redeemed."
4 因主耶和華這樣說: For this is what the Sovereign Lord says:
"起初我的子民下埃及寄居, "At first my people went down to Egypt to live;
最近亞述人無故欺壓他們." lately, Assyria oppressed them."
5 耶和華說: "And now what do I have here?" declare the Lord:
"我的子民被擄未取分文, "For my people have been taken away for nothing,
終日受統治者嘲笑羞辱, and those who rule them mock," declare the Lord.
現我在這裏能做甚麼呢? "And all day long
我的名終日被褻瀆侮蔑. my name is constantly blasphemed.
6 所以我的子民必知我名; Therefore my people will know my name;
到那日他們必知是我說, therefore in that day they will know
是的, 就是我!" that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I."
7 衪登山的腳何其美! How beautiful on the mountains
那傳福音, 報平安, are the feet of those who bring good news,
播佳音, 宣救恩的, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings,
對錫安說: who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion,
"你的神作王了!" "Your God reigns!"
8 聽啊! 你的守望者 Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices;
一同揚聲歡呼, together they shout for joy.
因耶和華榮歸錫安時, When the Lord returns to Ziuion,
他們都將親眼目睹. they will see it with their own eyes.
9 耶路撒冷的廢墟啊! Burst into songs of joy together,
你們都齊聲歡唱吧! you ruins of Jerusalem,
因耶和華安慰了衪的子民, for the Lord has comforted his people,
救贖了耶路撒冷. he has redeemed Jerusalem.
10 耶和華在萬國的眼前, The Lord will lay bare his holy arm
展現祂強有力的膀臂; in the sight of all the nations,
讓遠遠在地極上的人, and all the ends of the earth will see
都親眼看見神的救恩. the salvation of our God.
11 快離開, 快離開, 快從那裏出來! Depart, depart, go out from there!
不要觸摸不潔之物! Touch no unclean thing!
攜帶耶和華器皿的, Come out from it and be pure,
要清潔純淨走出來. you who carry the vessels of the Lord.
12 但你們出來時不必匆匆奔跑; But you will not leave in haste or go in flight;
因耶和華會在你們前面帶領, for the Lord will go before you,
以色列的神會作你們的後衛. the God of Isreal will be your rear guard.
