101. 行正直路
大衛的詩
1 我要歌唱你的慈愛公平, I will sing of your love and justice;
耶和華啊! 我要歌頌你. to you, O Lord, I will sing praise.
2 我要謹慎過完美的生活, I will be careful to lead a blameless life
你何時才到我這裏來呢? when will you come to me?
我要存完美心在家行事; I will walk in my house with blameless heart.
3 使我眼前的事無一邪惡. I will set before my eyes no vile thing.
我恨惡無信之人的行為, The deeds of faithless men I hate;
絕對不容許他們貼近我. they will not cling to me.
4 我要遠離心地邪惡的人, Men of perverse heart shall be far from me;
更加要與罪惡劃清界限. I will have nothing to do with evil.
5 暗中毀謗鄰居者, Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret,
我定必讓他消滅; him will I put to silence.
眼高心又傲的人, whoever has naughty eyes and a proud heart,
我必定不再容忍. him will I not endure.
6 我要看顧國中信實的人, My eyes will be on the faithful in the land,
並讓他們與我一同居住; that they may dwell with me;
我也要叫行為正直的人, he whose walk is blameless
供我差遣為我服事使用. will minister to me.
7 行為詭詐的人, No one who practices deceit
不容住我殿中; will dwell in my house;
滿口謊言的人, no one who speaks falsely
不容站我面前. will stand in my presence.
8 每日早晨我都要去 Every morning I will put to silence
消滅國中所有惡人; all the wicked in the land;
好把所有作惡的人 I will cut off every evildoer
從耶和華城中剪除. from the city of the Lord.

102. 求神解救
困苦之人沮喪的時候,
在耶和華面前傾吐苦情的禱告
1 耶和華啊! 求你垂聽我禱告, Hear my prayer, O Lord;
讓我的呼求達到你面前. let my cry for help come to you.
2 在我患難的日子, Do not hide your face from me
求勿掩面不顧我; when I am in distress.
也求你側耳傾聽; Turn your ear to me;
呼求時快回應我. when I call, answer me quickly.
3 因我的年日如煙雲消逝, For my days vanish like smoke;
我的身體更如炭火餘燼. my bones burn like glowing embers.
4 我的心如草枯萎, My heart is blighted and withered like grass;
甚至忘記了進食. I forget to eat my food.
5 因我大聲痛苦呻吟, Because of my loud groaning
使我頓時骨瘦如柴. I am reduced to skin and bones.
6 我好像曠野裏和 I am like a desert owl,
廢墟中的貓頭鷹. like an owl among the ruins.
7 我謹慎警醒躺著, I lie awake, I have become
像屋頂孤單小鳥. like a bird alone on a roof.
8 我的仇敵終日在辱罵我, All day long my enemies taunt me;
責備我的以我名咒詛我. those who rail against me use my name as a curse.
9 因我把爐灰當飯吃, For I eat ashes as my food
眼淚伴水往肚裏吞. and mingle my drink with tears
10 這都因你的憤恨烈怒. because of your great wrath,
把我抓起來又摔下去. for you have taken me up and thrown me aside.
11 我的年日如日影西斜, My days are like the evening shadow;
又像是青草凋零枯萎. I wither away like grass.
12 耶和華啊, 你坐著為王, 直到永遠! But you, O Lord, sit enthroned forever;
你的名聲, 存到萬代! your renown endures through all generations.
13 你定要起來憐恤錫安; You will arise and have compassion on Zion.
因現是恩待錫安之時, for it is time to show favor to her;
你定的日期己經到了. the appointed time has come.
14 你僕人珍視錫安石頭, For her stones are dear to your servants;
更加憐恤錫安的塵土. her very dust moves them to pity.
15 列國都要敬畏耶和華的名, The nations will fear the name of the Lord,
世上君王都尊崇你的榮耀. all the kings of the earth will revere your glory.
16 因耶和華必重建錫安, For the Lord will rebuild Zion
並在衪的榮耀裏顯現. and appear in his glory.
17 祂垂聽窮困的禱告, He will respond to the prayer of the destitute;
不輕視他們的祈求. he will not despise their plea.
18 這些事要－一記下來傳給後代, Let this be written for a future generation,
使將來出生的也會讚美耶和華: that a people not yet created may praise the Lord:
19 "因耶和華從至高的聖所垂看, "The Lord looked down from his sanctuary on high,
並從天上察看大地. from heaven he viewed the earth,
20 為要垂聽囚徒呻吟, to hear the groans of the prisoners
釋放被定死罪的人." and release those condemned to death."
21, 22 並使萬民列國聚集一堂 So the name of the Lord will be declared in Zion
同心敬拜耶和華的時候, and his praise in Jerusalem
在錫安宣揚耶和華的名, when the peoples and the kingdoms
在耶路撒冷讚美祂的話. assemble to worship the Lord.
23 在我的生命歷程中; In the course of my life
他削弱了我的力量, he broke my strength;
也縮短了我的年日. he cut short my days.
24 所以我說: "我的神啊! So I said:
不要讓我中年離世, "Do not take me away, O my God, in the midst of my days;
你的年數萬代無疆. your years go on through all generations.
25 你太初立定地的根基, In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth,
諸天也是你手造大工. and the heavens are the work of your hands.
26 天地都要毀滅, 你卻長存. They will perish, but you remain;
天地都像衣裳, 都會穿舊; they will all wear out like a garment.
你更換天地如更衣, like clothing you will change them
天地終必被你拋棄. and they will be discarded.
27 唯有你永遠不變, But you remain the same,
你的年數無窮盡. and your years will never end.
28 你僕人的子孫必在你面前安居, The children of your servants will live in your presence;
他們的後裔也必在你面前堅立." their descendants will be established before you."

大衛的詩
1 我的心啊! 你要讚美耶和華, Praise the Lord, O my soul;
我的內心哪! 你要讚美衪的聖名. all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 我的心啊! 你要讚美耶和華, Praise the Lord, O my soul;
毋忘衪的所有恩惠. and forget not all his benefits -
3 衪赦免你一切罪孽, who forgives all your sins
也醫治你所有疾病. and heals all your diseases,
4 衪救贖你的性命離死亡, who redeems your life from the pit
以慈愛憐憫作你的冠冕. and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 並以美事善物滿你所欲, who satisfies your desires with good things
更要使你如鷹返老還童. so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
6 耶和華施行公義, The Lord works righteousness
為所有受欺壓的人主持公道. and justice for all the oppressed.
7 衪向摩西指示自己的道路, He made known his ways to Moses,
向以色列人顯示自己作為. his deeds to the people of Isreal;
8 耶和華有憐憫有恩典, The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
不輕易發怒, 且有豐盛的慈愛. slow to anger, abounding in love.
9 衪不長久責備, He will not always accuse,
也不永遠懷怒. nor will he harbor his anger forever;
10 衪沒按我們的罪過對待我們, he does not treat us as our sins deserve
也沒照我們的罪孽報應我們. or repay us according to our iniquities.
11 天離地有多高, For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
衪的慈愛對敬畏衪的人也有多大; so great is his love for those who fear him;
12 東離西有多遠, as far as the east is from the west,
衪叫我們的過犯離我們也有多遠. so far has he removed our transgressions.
13 做父親的人怎樣憐恤他的兒女, As a father has compassion on his children,
耶和華也怎樣憐恤敬畏衪的人; so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him;
14 因衪知道我們是怎樣造的, for he knows how we are formed,
也記得我們只不過是塵土. he remembers that we are dust.
15 至於世人, 他的年日好像青草, As for man, his days are like grass,
又像野地綻放花朵; he flourishes like a flower of the field;
16 經風一吹就歸無有, the wind blows over it and it is gone,
原處再也無人記得. and its place remembers it no more.
17 但是從亙古到永遠; But from everlasting to everlasting
耶和華賜慈愛給敬畏衪的人, the Lord's love is with those who fear him,
也賜公義給他門的子子孫孫, and his righteousness with their children's children -
18 就是賜給那些遵守衪的約, with those who keep his covenant
記得衪的教訓並遵行的人. and remember to obey his precepts.
19 耶和華天上設立寶座, The Lord has established his throne in heaven,
讓衪的國度統管萬有. and his kingdom rules over all.
20 聽從衪命令, 成全衪旨意的 Praise the Lord, you his angels,
大能天使啊! you mighty ones who do his bidding,
你們都要讚美耶和華. who obey his word.
21 所有榮幸作衪的天軍, Praise the Lord,
遵行衪旨意的僕人啊! all his heavenly hosts,
你們都要讚美耶和華. you his servants who do his will.
22 在衪統治的每一角落, Praise the Lord,

104. 神的創造
1 我的心啊! 你要讚美耶和華, Praise the Loed, O my soul.
耶和華我的神啊! 你真偉大. O Lord my God, you are very great;
你以尊榮威嚴作衣裳, you are clothed with splendor and majesty.
2 披上亮光作外袍, He wraps himself in light as with a garment;
展開穹蒼如帳幕. he stretches out the heavens like a tent
3 在水上豎起天上樓閣的楝樑, and lays the beams of his upper chamber on their waters.
以雲彩作車駕, He makes the clouds his chariot
駕著風翅飛翔, and rides on the wings of the wind.
4 以風作使者, He makes winds his messangers,
以火作僕從. flames of fire his servants.
5 你把地堅立根基上, He set the earth on his foundations
使地永遠都不動搖. it can never be moved.
6 深水作衣覆蓋大地, You covered it with the deep as with a garment;
使眾水都高過群山. the waters stood above the mountains.
7 你一斥責水便奔逃. But at your rebuke the waters fled,
你雷一響水便奔流. at the sound of your thunder they took to flight;
8 水過群山流下山谷; they flowed over the mountains; they went down into the valleys,
流向你指定的地方. to the place you assigned for them.
9 你設界限水不能越, You set a boundary they cannot cross;
永 不回流淹沒大地. never again will they cover the earth.
10 祂使泉水湧入山谷, He makes springs pour water into the ravines;
在群山間自由流動. it flows between the mountains.
11 供田野的群獸飲用, They give water to all the beasts of the field;
同時也給野驢解渴. the wild donkeys quench their thirst.
12 飛鳥水旁築巢棲息, The birds of the air nest by waters;
並在枝頭啼叫鳴唱. they sing among the brances.
13 祂從天上樓閣澆灌群山, He waters the mountains from his upper chambers;
大地因祂大工富庶豐足. the earth is established by the fruit of his work.
14 衪使青草生長供牛羊食用; He makes grass grow for the cattle,
使人栽種耕作從地中得食. and plants for man to cultivate, bringing forth food from the earth:
15 醇酒暢快人心, wine that gladness the heart of man,
油脂紅潤人面, oil to make his face shine,
食糧滋養人體. and bread that sustains his heart.
16 耶和華栽種的樹木 The trees of the Lord
就是黎巴嫩香柏樹, are well watered,
都得到良好的灌溉. the cedars of Lebanon that he planted.
17 雀鳥在樹上築巢, There the birds make their nests;
白鶴以松樹為家. the stork has its home in the pine trees.
18 高山是野山羊居所, The high mountains belong to the wild goats;
岩穴為岩貍藏身處. the crags are refuge for the coneys.
19 你使月亮定節令, The moon marks off the seasons,
亦使太陽知西沉. and the sun knows when to go down.
20 你使黑暗成夜晚, You bring darkness, it becomes night,
林中百獸出覓食. and all the beasts of the forest prowl.
21 獅子為獵食吼叫, The lions roar for their prey
並向神尋求食物. and seek their food from God.
22 太陽一出百獸潛蹤; The sun rises, and they steal away;
返回洞穴躺下歇息. they return and lie down in their dens.
23 那時人才外出工作, then man goes out to his work,
從早到晚勞碌不停. to his labor until evening
24 耶和華啊, 你所造的何其多! How many are your works, O Lord!
都是你用智慧造的, In wisdom you made them all;
你所造的充滿全地. the earth is full of your creatures.
25 那裏有海廣大浩瀚; There is the sea, vast and spacious,
海中有無數的生物, teeming with creatures beyond number -
大小活物通通都有, living things both large and small.
26 在海上有船隻往返航行, There the ships go to and fro,
也有你造大魚嬉戲其中. and the leviathen, which you formed to forlic there.
27 所有活物都仰望你, These all look to you
盼望你能按時供食. to give them their food at the proper time.
28 你賜給他們就拜受; When you give it to them, they gather it up;
你張手他們享美食. when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things.
29 你掩面他們就驚惶; When you hide your face, they are terrified;
你收回他們的氣息, when you take away their breath,
他們就死亡歸塵土. they die and return to the dust.
30 你賜靈萬物都受造; When you send your spirit,
地面頓時煥然一新. and you renew the face of the earth.
31 願耶和華的榮耀存到永遠; May the glory of the Lord endure forever;
願耶和華喜悅自己的傑作. may the Lord rejoice in his works -
32 衪看地, 地就震動; he who looks at the earth, and it trembles,
衪摸山, 山就冒煙. who touches the mountains, and they smoke.
33 我一生都要向耶和華歌唱, I will sing to the Lord all my life;
有生之年歌唱讚美我的神! I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
34 願我的默想蒙衪喜悅, May my meditation be pleasing to him,
且我要因耶和華歡喜. as I rejoice in the Lord.
35 願罪人都從世上消失, But may sinners vanish from the earth
所有惡人都歸於無有. and the wicked be no more.

105. 守約的神
1 你們要感謝耶和華, 求告祂的名! Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name;
在萬民中傳揚祂的作為. make known among the nations what he has done.
2 要向祂歌唱, 向祂歌唱讚美! Sing to him, sing praise to him;
述說祂所有奇妙的作為. tell of all his wonderful acts.
3 你們都要榮耀祂的聖名, Glory in his holy name;
讓尋求祂的人滿心歡喜. let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
4 並要仰望祂和祂的大能, Look to the Lord and his strength;
而且時常去尋求祂的面. seek his face always.
5-6 祂僕人亞伯拉罕後裔啊! Remember the wonders he has done,
祂所揀選雅各的子孫啊! his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced.
要記得祂行過的神蹟奇事, O descendants of Abraham his servant,
以及祂所宣示的公正審判. O sons of Jacob, his chosen ones.
7 祂是耶和華我們的神, He is the Lord our God;
祂的公正審判遍全地. his judgment are in all the earth.
8 衪記得衪的約, 直到永遠! He remember his covenant forever,
記得衪的吩咐, 直到萬代! the word he commanded, for a thousand generations,
9 即衪與亞伯拉罕所立的約, the covenant he made with Abraham,
以及祂向以撒所起過的誓. the oath he swore to Isaac.
10 衪把這約向雅各定為律例, He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree,
並向以色列定為永遠的約: to Isreal as an everlasting covenant:
11 "我必將迦南地賜給你們, "To you I will give the land of Canaan
作你們永續繼承的產業." as the portion you will inherit."
12 那時他們的人數並不多, When they were but few in number,
實在很少且是寄居的人. few indeed, and strangers in it,
13 他們從這邦流浪到那邦, they wandered from nation to nation,
從這國流浪到那國. from one kingdom to another.
14 衪不容任何人欺壓他們, He allowed no one to oppress them;
並且為他們去斥責諸王: for their sake he rebuked kings:
15 "不可為難我的受膏者, "Do not touch my anointed ones;
也不可惡待我的先知." do my prophets no harm."
16 衪使饑荒遍降在那地, He called down famine on the land
斷絕他們的糧食供應. and destroyed all their supplies of food;
17 衪還差遣一人先下去, and he sent a man before them -
就是被賣為奴的約瑟. Joseph, sold as a slave.
18 他們用腳鐐傷他的腳, They bruised his feet with shackles,
更用鐵鍊鎖住他的頸. his neck was put in irons,
19 直到祂的預言都應驗, till what he foretold came to pass,
直到祂的話為他證實. till the word of the Lord proved him true.
20 王才派人去把他釋放, The king sent and released him,
統治者才放他得自由. the ruler of peoples set him free.
21 而且還派他執掌朝政, He made him master of his household,
讓他統管王一切所有. ruler over all he possessed.
22 他可任意指揮王群臣, to instruct his princes as he pleased
以智慧教導王的長老. and teach his elders wisdom.
23 後來以色列也下到埃及, Then Isreal entered Egypt;
雅各家人就在含地寄居, Jacob lived as an alien in the land of Ham.
24 耶和華使衪的子民生養眾多, The Lord made his people very fruitful;
使他們人丁興旺比敵人強盛. he made them too numerous for their foes,
25 衪改變敵人的心恨衪的子民, whose hearts he turned to hate his people,
用陰謀詭計去對付衪的僕人. to conspire against his servants.
26 衪差遣衪的僕人摩西, He sent Moses his servants,
和衪一心揀選的亞倫. and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
27 在敵人中施行衪神蹟, They performed his miracles signs among them,
並在含地顯明衪奇事. his wonders in the land of Ham.
28 衪降下黑暗全地漆黑; He sent darkness and made the land dark -
因為衪的話豈能悖逆? for had they not rebelled against his words?
29 衪使埃及的河水變血, He turned their waters into blood,
河中的魚蝦全都死光. causing their fish to die.
30 青蛙成群結隊遍全地, Their land teemed with frogs,
爬入了統冶者的宮室. which went up into the bedrooms of their rulers.
31 衪一聲蒼蠅成群飛來, He spoke, and there came swarms of flies,
虱子長滿了全國四境. and gnats throughout their country.
32 衪還使雨水變為冰雹, He turned their rain into hail,
空中雷電交加遍全地; with lightning throughout their land;
33 擊打葡萄和無花果樹, he struck down their vines and fig trees
毀壞他們境內的樹木, and shattered the trees of their country.
34 衪一聲蝗蟲成群來襲, He spoke, and the locusts came,
蚱蜢更加是不計其數; grasshoppers without number;
35 吃盡地上所有的作物, they ate up every green thing in their land,
也吃光田地一切農產. ate up the produce of their soil.
36 衪又擊殺國內所有長子, Then he struck down all the firstborn in their land,
即他們青壯生的頭生子. the first fruits of all their manhood.
37 衪領以色列帶金銀出來, He brought out Isreal, laden with silver and gold,
在眾支派之中無一畏縮. and from among their tribes no one faltered.
38 他們離開時埃及人大喜; Egypt was gald when they left,
因他們都懼怕以色列人. because dread of Isreal had fallen on them.
39 衪展開雲彩掩護他們, He spread out a cloud as a covering,
夜間以火光照耀全體. and a fire to give light at night.
40 依請求衪使鵪鶉飛來, They asked, and he brought them quail
並降天糧使他們飽足. and satified them with the bread of heaven.
41 衪劈開磬石水就湧出; He opened the rock, and water gushed out;
像江河在沙漠中奔流. like a river it flowed in the desert.
42 這都因衪記得自己向衪的 For he remembered his holy promise
僕人亞伯拉罕神聖的應許. given to his servant Abraham.
43 衪帶領自己子民歡樂而出, He brought out his people with rejoicing,
並引領衪的選民歡呼而來. his chosen ones with shouts of joy;
44 衪將列國的地都賜給他們, he gave them the lands of the nations,
讓他們承受別人勞碌成果. and they fell heir to what others had toiled for -
45 好使他們都遵從衪的律例, that they keep his precepts
並且嚴格去謹守衪的律法. and observe his laws.
你們都要讚美耶和華. Praise the Lord.

106. 恩待子民
1 你們要讚美耶和華! Praise the Lord.
你們要感謝耶和華, 因衪美善! Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
衪的慈愛永遠長存. his love endures forever.
2 誰能宣揚耶和華的大能? Who can proclaim the mighty acts of the Lord
誰能說盡對衪讚美的話? or fully declare his praise?
3 凡主持公道和常行公義者 Blessed are they who maintain justice,
都是有福的. who constantly do what is right.
4 耶和華啊! Remember me, O Lord ,
你恩待你的子民時, 求你記得我; when you show favor to your people,
你拯救他們時, 求你幫助我. come to my aid when you save them.
5 使我得享你選民的福, that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones,
與你的國民－同歡樂, that I may share in the joy of your nation
跟你的產業同聲讚美. and jion your inheritance in giving praise.
6 我們與列祖同樣犯罪, We have sinned, even as our fathers did;
我們不肖作孽也行惡. we have done wrong and acted wickedly.
7 當我們列祖在埃及時, When our fathers were in Egypt,
他們不看重你的奇事, they gave no thought to your miracles;
不記得你豐盛的慈愛; they did not remember your many kindnesses,
反在紅海之濱悖逆你. and they rebelled by the sea, the Red Ses.
8 然而, 衪為己名拯救他們, Yet he saved them for his name's sake,
藉此去彰顯祂的大能. to make his mighty power known.
9 衪斥責紅海水就乾涸; He rebuked the Red Sea,
衪帶領他們走過海底, and it dried up;
就好像步行走過曠野. he led them through the depths as through a desert.
10 拯救他們脫離仇敵的手, He saved them from the hand of the foe;
從敵人的手中救贖他們. from the hand of the enemy he redeemed them.
11 海水淹沒了他們的敵人, The waters covered their adversaries;
全都葬身大海無一生還. not one of them survived.
12 他們這才相信衪的應許, Then they believed his promises
一同齊聲去歌唱讚美衪. and sang his praise.
13 他們很快忘了衪的作為, But they soon forgot what he had done
不再虛心仰望祂的旨意, and did not wait for his counsel.
14 反在曠野大起貪婪的心, In the desert they gave in to their craving;
膽敢在荒野之中試探神. in the wasteland they put God to test.
15 神依他們祈求賜給他們, So he gave them what they asked for,
但降瘟疫在他們的身上. but sent a wasting disease upon them.
16 他們在營中嫉妒摩西, In the camp they grew envious of Moses
和耶和華的聖者亞倫. and of Aaron, who was consecrated to the Lord.
17 於是地裂開吞沒大坍; The earth oppened up and swallowed Dathan;
並埋葬了亞比蘭一黨. it buried the company of Abriam.
18 火在他們黨羽中燃燒, Fire blazed among their followers;
烈燄熊熊燒減了惡人. a flame consumed the wicked.
19 他們在何烈山造牛犢, At Horeb they made a calf
膜拜金屬鑄造的偶像. and worshiped an idol cast from metal.
20 他們竟用吃草牛的像, They exchanged their Glory
去交換他們榮耀的神, for an image of a bull, which eats grass.
21 他們竟把拯救他們的神忘了, They forgot the God who saved them,
祂曾在埃及為他們行過大事. who had done great things in Egypt,
22 在含地為他們行過奇事, miracles in the land of Ham
在紅海濱行過可畏的事. and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.
23 所以祂說要滅絕他們, So he said he would destroy them -
若非有祂揀選的摩西 had not Moses, his chosen one,
在祂面前站在破口上, stood in the breach before him
使祂的烈怒止息不發; to keep his wrath
否則祂早就滅絕他們. from destroying them.
24 他們還是藐視那美地, Then they despised the pleasant land;
依然不相信衪的應許. they did not believe his promise.
25 在自己帳棚裏發怨言, They gumbled in their tents
毫不敬畏順服耶和華. and did not obey the Lord.
26 故祂舉手對他們起誓, So he swore to them with uplifted hand
必使他們倒斃在曠野. that he would make them fall in desert.
27 同時也使他們的後裔, make their descendants fall among the nations
倒在列國中分散天下. and scattered them throughout the lands.
28 他們又歸順巴力毗珥, They yoked themselves to the Baal of Beor
還吃祭過死神的供物. and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods;
29 並以惡行惹怒耶和華. they provoked the Lord to anger by their wicked deeds,
瘟疫乃流行他們中間. and a plague broke out among them.
30 所幸非尼哈挺身干預 ; But Phinehas stood up and intervened,
就這樣瘟疫才告止息. and the plague was checked.
31 此舉乃算是他的義行, This was credited to him as righteousness
世世代代一直到永遠. for endless generations to come.
32 就在米利巴的水邊, By the waters of Meribah
他們又惹怒耶和華, they angered the Lord,
使摩西因他們受罰. and trouble came to Moses because of them;
33 因他們悖逆神的靈, For they rebelled against the Spirit of God,
摩西的嘴頂撞了神. and rash words came from Moses' lips.
34 他們不遵耶和華命, They did not destroy the peoples
切實滅絕外邦敵人. as the Lord had commanded them,
35 反與外邦人混居雜處, but they mingled with the nations
接納他們的風俗習慣. and adopted their customs.
36 他們事奉他們的偶像, They worshiped their idols,
這就成了他們的羅網. which became a snare to them.
37 他們把自己的兒女, They sacrificed their sons
忍心拿來祭祀鬼魔, and their daughters to demons.
38 他們流無辜人的血, They shed innocent blood,
就是自己兒女的血; the blood of their sons and daughters,
去祭祀迦南的偶像, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan,
那地就被血玷污了. and the land was desecrated by their blood.
39 他們被己所為玷污, They defiled themselves by what they did;
在行為上犯了邪淫. by their deeds they prostituted themselves.
40 因此, 耶和華向祂的子民發怒, Therefore the Lord was angry with his people
並憎惡自己的產業. and abhorred his inheritance.
41 把他們交給外邦人, He handed them over to the nations,
讓仇敵去統治他們. and their foes ruled over them
42 容敵人去欺壓他們, Their enemies oppressed them
屈服在仇敵暴力下. and subjected them to their power.
43 衪曾多次拯救他們, Many times he delivered them,
但他們卻一意悖逆, but they were bent on rebellion
反被自己的罪消滅. and they wasted away in their sin.
44 當衪聽到他們哀求時, But he took note of their distress
還是顧念他們的苦難. when he heard their cry;
45 為了他們衪記念衪的約, for their sake he remembered his covenant
並以豐盛慈愛憐憫他們. and out of his great love he relented.
46 使他們在俘虜者的面前, He caused them to be pitied
得蒙憐恤寬待苟且偷生. by all who held them captive.
47 耶和華我們的神啊! Save us,
求你施恩拯救我們; O Lord our God,
從列邦中招聚我們, and gather us from the nations,
好來感謝你的聖名, that we may give thanks in your holy name
並且讚美你的榮耀. and glory in your praise.
48 讚美耶和華以色列的神! Praise be to the Lord, the God of Isreal,
從亙古直列永遠, from everlasting to everlasting.
願眾民都說: "阿們!" Let all the people say, "Amen!"
你們都要讚美耶和華! Praise the Lord.
