51. 認罪痛悔
大衛與拔示巴同室, 先知拿單來見他後,
作這詩, 交詩班長
1 神啊! 求你以你的慈愛憐恤我, Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love;
以你的大愛塗抹我過犯. according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.
2 求你洗盡我的罪孽, Wash away all my iniquity
同時潔淨我的罪惡. and cleanse me from my sin.
3 因為我知道我的過犯, For I know my transgressions,
我的罪惡常在我面前. and my sin is always before me.
4 我犯罪悖逆你得罪你, Against you, you only, have I sinned
並且在你的眼前作惡; and done what is evil in your sight,
所以你的責備正確, so that you are proved right when you speak
而且你的審判公平. and justified when you judge.
5 的確我生下來就有罪, Surely I was sinful at birth,
在我母懷胎時就有罪. sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
6 你的確喜愛內在誠實; Surely you desire truth in the inner parts;
在內心深處教我智慧. you teach me wisdom in the inmost place.
7 求你用牛膝草使我潔淨; Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
求你洗淨我使我比雪白. wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
8 求你讓我聽見歡樂聲音, Let me hear joy and gladness;
讓被你壓傷的身體歡喜. let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
9 求你掩面不看我的罪, Hide your face from my sin
同時塗抹我一切罪孽. and blot out all my iniquity.
10 神啊! 求你為我新造純潔的心, Create in me a pure heart, O God,
我裏面重新有堅定的靈. and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 不要把我從你面前丟棄, Do not cast me from your presence
不要從我收回你的聖靈. or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 求你使我重得救恩喜樂, Restore to me the joy of your salvation
並賜我樂意扶持我的靈. and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
13 好把你的道教導犯過者, Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
並讓罪人都回轉歸順你. and sinner will turn back to you.
14 神啊, 拯救我的神啊!, Save me from bloodguilt, O God,
求你救我脫離流人血的罪, the God who saves me,
我的舌就要歌頌你的公義. and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.
15 主啊! 求張開我的嘴, O Lord, open my lips,
讓我的口四方宣揚讚美你. and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 你不喜愛祭物, You do not delight in sacrifice,
也不喜悅燔祭. or I would bring it;
否則我就獻上. you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
17 神要的祭物乃憂傷的靈; The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;
神啊! 憂傷痛侮的心, a broken and contrite heart,
你必不會輕看. O God, you will not despise.
18 求你以美意繁榮錫安, In your good pleasure make Zion prosper;
鞏固耶路撤冷的城牆. build up the walls of Jerusalem.
19 那時必有人獻上公義的祭; Then there will be righteous sacrifices,
就是討你喜悅的全牲燔祭, whole burnt offerings to delight you;
和將公牛獻在你的祭壇上. then bulls will be offered on your altar.
52. 遭神報應
大衛的訓誨詩, 交詩班長
在以東人多益告訴掃羅: "大衛到了亞希米勒家." 後所作
1 強人啊! 為何吹噓罪惡? Why do you boast evil, you mighty man?
為何終日自誇? Why do you boast all day long?
在神眼中你真可恥. you who are a disgrace in the eyes of God.
2 你的舌頭詭詐毀人, Your tongue plots destruction;
像一把鋒利的剃刀. it is like a sharpened razor, you who practice deceit.
3 你愛邪惡不愛美善; You love evil rather than good,
你愛撒謊不愛吐實. 細拉 falsehood rather than speaking the truth Selah
4 你詭詐的舌頭啊! You love every harmful word;
你愛說傷人的話. O you deceitful tongue!
5 然而神必定會把你永遠毀滅; Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin;
祂會把你從帳棚中抓出撕碎, He will snatch you up and tear you from your tent;
更把你從活人之地連根拔起. he will uproot you from the land of the living.
6 義人看見會懼怕, The righteous will see and fear;
他們會嘲笑他說: they will laugh at him, saying,
7 "看哪! 這就是那不靠神庇護的人, "Here now is the man who did not make God his stronghold
只倚靠自己豐盛財富, but trusted in his great wealth
去毀滅別人壯大自己." and grew strong by destroying others!"
8 我像神殿中茂盛橄欖樹, But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God;
永永遠遠信靠神的慈愛. I trust in God's unfailing love for ever and ever.
9 我要永遠讚美你行的事, I will praise you forever for what you have done;
也要仰望你的名, in your name I will hope,
因為你的名美好; for your name is good.
我也要在你聖民面前讚美你! I will praise you in the presence of your saints.
53. 遭神棄絕
大衛的訓誨詩, 交詩班長, 調用 "麻哈拉"
1 愚人心裏說: "沒有神!" The fool says in his heart, "There is no God."
他們敗壞行惡事; They are corrupt, and their ways are vile;
沒有一個行善的. there is no one who does good.
2 神從天垂看世人, God looks down from heaven on the sons of men
看有無明理的人, to see if there are any who understand,
有無尋求神的人. any who seek God.
3 發現人人遠離神, Everyone has turned away,
且個個變得敗壞; they have together become corrupt;
沒有行善的, 連一個也沒有. there is no one who does good, not even one.
4 作惡的永遠得不到教訓嗎? Will the evildoers never learn -
他們吞吃我的子民如吃飯, those who devour my people as men eat bread
尤其他們不求告神. and who do not call on God?
5 他們在不必懼怕處, There they were, overwhelmed with dread,
神經緊張充滿恐懼; where there was nothing to dread.
神打散攻擊你的人的骨頭, God scattered the bones of those who attacked you;
使他們蒙羞因神棄絕他們. you put them to shame, for God despised them.
6 願以色列救恩從錫安而出, Oh, that salvation for Isreal would come out of Zion!
神恢復對祂的子民保障時, When God restores the fortress of his people,
雅各要歡喜! 以色列要快樂! let Jacob rejoice and Isreal be glad!
54. 脫離仇敵
大衛的訓誨詩, 交詩班長, 用絲弦樂器伴奏
在西弗人來對掃羅說: "大衛豈不是在我們這裏藏身嗎?" 後所作
1 神啊! 求你以你的名救我, Save me, O God, by your name;
以你的大能為我申冤. vindicate me by your might.
2 神啊! 求你垂聽我的禱告, Hear my prayer, O God;
細聽我口中說的言語. listen to the words of my mouth.
3 外族起來攻擊我, Strangers are attacking me;
暴徒追索我性命; ruthless men seek my life -
不把神放在眼裏. 細拉 men without regard for God. Selah
4 神在幫助我, Surely God is my help;
主在扶持我. the God is the one who sustains me.
5 願災禍報應在中傷我的人身上, Let evil recoil on those who slander me,
也求你以你的信實把他們消滅. in your faithfulness destroy them.
6 我要甘心情願向你獻祭, I will sacrifice a freewill offering to you;
耶和華啊! 我要讚美你的名, I will praise your name, O Lord,
因為你的名美好. for it is good.
7 祂救我脫離了一切災難, For he has delivered me from all my troubles,
讓我親眼看見勝過仇敵. and my eyes have looked in triumph on my foes.
55. 惡人迫害
大衛的訓誨詩, 交詩班長, 用絲弦樂器
1 神啊! 求你傾聽我的禱告, Listen to my prayer, O God,
不要不理我的懇求. do not ignore my plea;
2 求你側耳聽回應我; hear me and answer me.
我思想混亂心不寧. My thoughts trouble me and I am distraught
3 都因為仇敵的喊叫, at the voice of the enemy,
還有那惡人的怒視; at the stares of the wicked;
和他們的忿怒辱罵, for they bring down suffering upon me
使我身心痛苦萬分. and revile me in their anger.
4 我的心傷痛至極, My heart is in anguish within me;
死亡恐怖襲擊我. the terrors of death assail me.
5 恐懼戰抖包圍我, Fear and trembling have beset me;
恐怖氣氛籠罩我. horror has overshelmed me.
6 我說: "但願我有鴿子雙翅, I said, "Oh, that I had the wings of a dove!
好高飛別處棲息. I would fly away and be at rest -
7 我自會逃往遠方, I would flee far away
停 留在荒涼曠野. and stay in the desert;
8 迅速躲入避難所, I would hurry to my place of shelter,
遠離那狂風暴雨." far from the tempest and storm."
9 主啊! 求你困擾惡人, Confuse the wicked, O Lord,
攪亂他們的言語; confound their speech,
我見城中暴亂爭鬥. for I see violence and strife in the city.
10 他們晝夜出沒城牆, Day and night they prowl about on its walls;
惡行凌虐瀰漫全城. malice and abuse are within it.
11 毀滅力量肆虐城中, Destructive forces are at work in the city;
威嚇謊言不離街頭. threats and lies never leave its streets.
12 若是仇敵羞辱我, 尚可忍耐, If an enemy were insulting me, I could endure it;
若是仇家反抗我, 尚可躲避; if a foe were raising himself aginst me, I could hide from him.
13 不料是你! 與我推心置腹, But it is you a man like myself,
你是我的良伴, 我的密友. my companion, my close friend,
14 以往你曾經與我親密交往, with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship
也常在神殿中與群眾同行. as we walked with the throng at the house of God.
15 願死亡突臨我的敵人, Let death take my enemies by surpeise;
願他們活活下到陰間; let them go down alive to the grave,
因邪惡在他們身上找到歸宿. for evil finds lodging among them.
16 至於我則求告神, But I call to God,
立蒙耶和華拯救. and the Lord saves me.
17 晚上早晨和晌午, Evening, morning and noon
我在危難中哀求, I cry out in distress,
祂都垂聽我聲音. and he hears my voice.
18 祂從反抗我的戰場中, He ransoms me unharmed
即使反抗我的人眾多, from the battle waged against me,
祂毫髮無傷救贖了我. even though many oppose me.
19 那永遠坐著為王的神, God, who is enthroned forever,
對永不悔改不畏神者, 細拉 will hear them and afflict them - Selah
願你聽到他們的聲音, men who never change their ways
就立即嚴厲懲治他們. and have no fear of God.
20 我的良朋攻擊摯友, My companion attacks his friends;
違背了自己的誓約 . he violates his covenant.
21 他的口比奶油還滑, His speech is smooth as butter,
他的心卻不忘戰爭; yet war is in his heart;
他的話比脂油柔和 his words are more soothing than oil,
他的手卻拔出刀劍. yet they are drawn swords.
22 把重擔卸給耶和華, Cast your cares on the Lord
祂定必全力扶持你; and he will sustain you;
永遠不讓義人敗亡. he will never let the righteous fall.
23 神啊! 你必使惡人墜入滅亡深坑, But you, O God, will bring down the wicked
流人血和行詭詐的人, into the pit of corruption;
必活不到半生就滅亡. bloodthirsty and deceitful men will not live out half their days.
至於我, 我絕對信靠你. But as for me, I trust in you.
56. 必不懼怕
大衛的金詩, 交詩班長, 調用 "遠方無聲鴿"
大衛在迦特被非利士人俘虜時所作
1 神啊! 求你憐憫我, Be merciful to me, O God,
因為人緊迫追逐我, for men hotly pursue me;
並終日緊迫攻擊我. all day long they press their attack.
2 我仇敵終日追趕我, My slanderers pursue me all day long;
並趾高氣揚攻擊我. many are attacking me in their pride.
3 我懼怕的時候, When I am afraid,
就全心信靠你. I will trust in you.
4 靠著神, 我要讚美祂的話, In God, whose word I praise,
信靠神, 我就勇敢不懼怕; in God I trust, I will not be afraid.
凡人能把我怎麼樣呢? What can mortal man do to me?
5 他們終日曲解我的話, All day long they twist my words;
而且常常設計陷害我. they are always plotting to harm me.
6 他們密謀設埋伏, They conspire, they lurk,
暗中窺探我行蹤; they watch my steps,
急欲取我的性命. eager to take my life.
7 沒理由讓他們逃脫, On no account let them escape;
神啊! 求你在忿怒中打倒列國. in your anger, O God, bring down the nations.
8 求你記錄我的哀傷; Record my lament;
把我眼淚裝入你的酒囊, put my tears in your wineskin -
這不都記在你的冊上嗎? are they not in your record?
9 願在我呼求的時候, Then my enemies will turn back
我的仇敵轉身後退; when I call for help.
讓我知道神在助我. By this I will know that God is for me.
10 靠著神, 我要讚美祂的話; In God, whose word I praise,
靠著主, 我要讚美祂的話. In the Lord, whose word I praise -
11 信靠神, 我就勇敢不懼怕; In God I trust, I will not be afraid.
凡人能把我怎麼樣呢? What can man do to me?
12 神啊! 我向你許過願, I am under vows to you, O God;
我要向你獻上感謝祭. I will present my thank offering to you.
13 因你從死亡中救出我, For you have delivered me from death
使我的腳穩步前行; and my feet from stumbling,
能夠在生命的光中, that I may walk before God
在真神的面前行走. in the light of life.
57. 靠神蔭庇
大衛的金詩, 交詩班長, 調用 "休要毀壞"
大衛逃避掃羅, 躲入山洞時所作
1 神啊, 求你憐憫我, 憐憫我! Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy on me,
因為我的心投靠你, for in you my soul takes refuge.
我要投靠你翅蔭下, I will take refuge in the shadow of your wings
直到一切災難過去. until the disater has passed.
2 我要向至高神呼求, I cry out to God Most High,
向為我成就衪旨意的神呼求. to God, who fufills his purpose for me.
3 祂從天上施恩拯救我, He sends from heaven and saves me,
責罰緊迫追逐我的人; 細拉 rebuking those who hotly pursue me; Selah
衪向我大施慈愛信實. God sends his love and his faithfulness.
4 我身陷獅子群裏, I am in the midst of lions;
躺在餓極野獸中; I lie among ravenous beasts -
他們的齒如槍箭, men whose teeth are spears and arrows,
他們的舌似利劍. whose tongues are sharp swords.
5 神啊, 願你的尊崇高過諸天! Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
願你的榮耀遍及全地! let your glory be over all the earth.
6 他們在我腳下撒羅網, They spread a net for my feet -
為要逼使我屈服低頭; I was bowed down in distress.
他們在我路上挖深坑, They dug a pit in my path -
反而自己掉入坑穴中. 細拉 but they have fallen into it themselves. Selah
7 神啊, 我心堅定, 我心堅定! My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast;
我要唱詩, 我要歌頌! I will sing and make music.
8 我的靈啊, 快醒來! Awake, my soul!
琴和瑟啊, 快起來! Awake, harp and lyre!
我也要喚醒黎明. I will awake the dawn.
9 主啊, 我要在列國中讚美你! I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations;
也要在萬民中歌頌你! I will sing of you among the peoples.
10 因你的慈愛高及諸天, For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;
你的信實也達到穹蒼. your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
11 神啊, 願你的尊崇高過諸天! Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
你的榮耀遍及全地! let your glory be over all the earth.
58. 惡人遭報
大衛的金詩, 交詩班長, 調用 "休要毀壞"
1 你們掌權的人真的講公義嗎? Do you rulers indeed speak justly?
你們審判的人真公正審判嗎? Do you judge uprightly among men?
2 不是的, 你們心謀不公不義, No, in your heart you devise injustice;
你們手在地上行暴肆虐. and your hands mete out violence on the earth.
3 惡人生下來就走上歧途, Even from birth the wicked go astray;
一出母胎裏就任性說謊. from the womb they are wayward and speak lies.
4 他們惡毒像蛇毒, Their venom like the venom of a snake,
且是耳聾的毒蛇. like that of a cobra that has stopped its ears,
5 聽不見弄蛇人吹奏的聲調, that will not heed the tune of the charmer,
不管他功力多高都聽不見. however skillful the enchanter may be.
6 神啊, 求你打碎他們口中的利齒! Break the teeth in their mouth, O God;
主啊, 求你拔掉獅子嘴裏的獠牙! tear out, O Lord, the fangs of the lions!
7 願他們像水般流逝, let them vanish like water that flows away;
拉開弓時箭頭折斷. when they draw the bow, let their arrows be blunted.
8 也願他們像蝸牛蠕行中熔化; Like a slug melting away as it moves along,
又像夭折的嬰兒見不到天日. like a still born child, may they not see the sun.
9 燃荊燒鍋猶未熱; Before your pots can feel the heat of the thorns -
荊棘是青還是乾, whether they be green or dry -
壞的都會燒乾淨. the wicked will be swept away.
10 當義人在惡人血中洗腳時, The righteous will be glad when they are avenged,
他一見仇敵遭報應就心歡. when they bathe their feet in the blood of the wicked.
11 因此, 有人會說: Then men will say,
"義人必然有善報, "Surely the righteous still are rewarded;
確有神審判世界." Surely there is a God who judges the earth."
59. 懲罰惡人
大衛的金詩, 交詩班長, 調用 "休要毀壞"
掃羅打發人去窺探大衛的家, 想要殺害他時所作.
1 我的神啊! 求你救我脫離仇敵, Deliver me from my enemies, O God;
保護我脫離起來攻擊我的人. protect me from those who rise up against me.
2 也求你救我脫離作惡的人 Deliver me from evildoers
同時拯救我遠離嗜血的人. and save me from bloodthirsty men.
3 看哪, 他們埋伏等著我! See how they lie in wait for me!
耶和華啊! 兇徒密謀對付我, Fierce men conspire against me
不因我的過犯或罪惡. for no offense or sin of mine, O Lord.
4 我沒有犯任何的過錯, I have done no wrong,
他們還是準備攻擊我; yet they are ready to attack me.
求你起來幫助我, Arise to help me;
並垂察我的困境. look on my plight!
5 萬軍之耶和華, 以色列的神啊! O Lord God Almighty, the God of Isreal,
求你起來! 懲罰萬國; rouse yourself to punish all the nations;
不要憐憫, 奸惡叛徒. 細拉 show no mercy to wicked traitors. Selah
6 這些歹徒傍晚回來, They return at evening,
像狗狂吠出沒城中. snarling like dog, and prowl about the city.
7 看看他們口吐何物? See what they spew from their mouths -
吐出的竟然是刀劍, they spew out swords from their lips,
並說: "誰能聽見我們?" and they say, "Who can hear us?"
8 然而, 主啊! 你譏笑他們, But you, O Lord, laugh at them,
你嘲笑萬國. you scoff at all those nations.
9 我的力量之神啊, 我要仰望你! O my Strength, I watch for you;
神啊! 你是我的堡壘, 是我敬愛的神. you, O God, are my fortress, my loving God.
10 神要在我面前帶領我, God will go before me
讓我暗笑中傷我的人. and will let me gloat over those who slander me.
11 主啊, 你是我們的盾牌! But do not kill them, O Lord our shield,
求你不要殺他們, 免我的子民忘懷; or my people will forget.
求你用你的大能, 使他們四散倒下. In your might make them wander about, and bring them down.
12 因他們口中的罪嘴裏的話, For the sins of their mouths, for the words of their lips,
讓他們困死在驕傲自大中. let them be caught in their pride.
又因他們口出咒罵謊言, For the curses and lies they utter
13 求你在烈怒中消滅他們, consume them in wrath,
把他們消滅得一乾二淨. consume them till they are no more.
好叫全民皆知直到地極, Then it will be known to the ends of the earth
神的確在雅各中間掌權. 細拉 that God rules over Jacob. Selah
14 這些歹徒傍晚回來, They return at evening,
像狗狂吠出沒城中. snarling like dog, and prowl about the city.
15 他們四處遊蕩覓食, They wander about for food
若不得飽咆哮不停. and howl if not satified.
16 我要歌頌你的力量, But I will sing of your strength,
清晨歌唱你的慈愛; in the morning I will sing of your love;
因為你是我的堡壘, for you are my fortress,
危難日子的避難所. my refuge in times of trouble.
17 我的力量之神啊! 我要歌頌讚美你, O my Strength, I sing praise to you;
神啊! 你是我的堡壘, you, O God, are my fortress,
也是我敬愛的神. my loving God.
60. 戰勝敵人
大衛的金詩, 交詩班長, 調用 "約中的百合花" 作教導用
大衛在兩河間的亞蘭和瑣巴的亞蘭戰爭時,
約押在鹽谷擊殺一萬二千以東人後, 班師時所作.
1 神啊! 你曾丟棄我們, 打擊我們; You have rejected us, O God, and burst forth upon us;
也向我們發過怒, 現在求你復興我們! you have been angry - now restore us!
2 你使大地震動崩裂, You have shaken the land and torn it open;
因地動搖求你修補. mend its fractures, for it is quaking.
3 你使你的子民陷入艱苦絕望, You have shown your people desperate times;
叫我們喝令人東倒西歪的酒. you have given us wine that makes us stagger.
4 你為敬畏你的人高舉旌旗; But for those who fear you, you have raised a banner
並且展開大旗去抵擋弓箭. 細拉 to be unfurled against the bow. Selah
5 求你用右手救助我們, Save us and help us with your right hand,
好叫你所愛的人得救. that those you love may be delivered.
6 神在自己的聖所宣示: God has spoken from his sanctuary:
"我必趁勝分割示劍地, "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem
還要一併丈量疏割谷, and measure off the Valley of Succoth.
7 基列是我的, 瑪拿西是我的; Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine;
以法蓮是我的頭盔, Ephraim is my helmet,
猶大更是我的權杖. Judah my scepter.
8 摩押是我的洗腳盆, Moab is my washbasin,
我還要向以東丟鞋, upon Edom I toss my sandal;
為戰勝非利士歡呼." over Philistia I shout in triumph."
9 誰能率我攻進堅固城? Who will bring me to the fortified city?
誰能帶我進入以東地? Who will lead me to Edom?
10 神啊! 不是你, Is it not you, O God,
你豈不是丟棄了我們, you who have rejected us
不再和大軍出征了嗎? and no longer go out with our armies?
11 求你助我們攻擊敵人, Give us aid against the enemy,
因人的幫助毫無用處. for the help of man is worthless.
12 我們依靠神才能得勝, With God we will gain victory,
祂必踐踏我們的敵人. and he will trample down our enemies.
